I could barely get any sleep,I was thinking of what to do, should I reveal myself tommorow?,should i go behind her back?,or should I accept our fate now?
All this questions were running through my mind,I don't even know what to do
I closed my eyes hoping to find an answer when I wake up
NEXT DAY|
I woke early and got my self disguised,I went to the yard where my mom comes to pay visit to her husband,I had no idea what I was doing but I hope it goes well,I sat under the almond three for twenty five minutes
Then I looked upward and I saw her coming I quickly adjust my emotions and allow my smile shine bright
"My son you're welcome",my mom said as he drag me by hands and sat me down,"don't stress your legs my son
"Mother I should be the one worrying about your health",I said as I gave her a warm smile
"That's not my fear anymore for I know my time is near",my mom said as tears run down her cheeks,she pour out some petals into the stream
"I came here because I have something to tell you",i said to my mom
"What bothers you son?",my mother asked giving me her attention
"Am not who you think I am",I said with a really sad look on my face,I mean I don't know how she will take it
"What do you mean?",my mom asked eagerly
"I am ALORA HEIST",I said wearing a brave look
{Moms laugh},my son there is no time for joke nowadays....",I interupted her immediately
"Am serious mother am alora",I said as I remove my hair knot used to hold my hair up
"Nice try son,but my alora has blonde hair",my mom said with a warm smile
"When was the last time you saw alora hair?",I asked staring at her
"The last time I saw her was the day before your first visit",my mom said in surprise,from my observation she was able to pair two or more things together and figure out the truth
"Alora,is that you?",my mother asked as she stepped closer to me
"Yes mom,is me your alora",I said in return as I walk close to her
"What have you done to yourself?",my mom asked placing her hands on my face
"Mom I told you I want to help,I can help you save this house mother,just give me a chance",I said already on my kneels pleading
"Have you ever thought of what would happen to me if you were caught and killed,have you thought of the hardship you will go through,have you ever thought that you'll be risking your life to protect a royal blood have you ever thought of that?",my mom asked with more tears running down her cheek,"I can't bare to loose you,you're all I have left",she said as she lift me up from the ground
"Mom, please I beg you,I need you to trust me,I am prepared for this and nothing will happen to me",I said trying to encourage her to agree to the plan
"Alora!,are you sure you want to do this?",my mom asked staring at me
"Yes mom I want to,I want to do it for you and I",I said as I wipe my tears and wore a warm smile
My mom just stood there looking at me,she let out a deep breath and sat on the bench,she picked up her bowl of petals rose in particular and started pouring it out
I assume that she has agreed to the plan
"Hmmm!,is time we go inside alora there is so much more to do than just sitting here",my mom said as she got up from the bench and walk out of the yard
I followed her till we got to our courtyard,my mom sat on a chair outside our building awaiting the royal guards
{Stomping of horses}
"Mom they're coming",I informed my mother who was just sitting without moving or blinking
"Go inside",she ordered and i did as I was told,I went inside my room,I spied on them through the window
I could see the royal guards on their horses,they did not unmount their horse,from my observation they were surprised that my mom did not offer to give them some usual pleasantries
The chief commander unmounted his horse followed by his coup
"Greetings royal guard",my mom said with a very bright smile
"Greetings Mrs heist,we serve as a reminder to you that you only have today and tomorrow left",the chief commander said staring at my mom boldly
"Come tommorow and collect your royal knight",my mom said with a sad look on her face,what happened to the strong woman in her who could maintain a proper smile in any situation,she just couldn't bear that she was giving me away
The royal guards were surprised by her statement
"Okay,we will be here with the royal knight carriage",the royal guard said as he bowed to show respect
He signaled his coups and they left the compound
I could see tears running down her cheek,I walked out and sat close to her
"My daughter are you ready for what awaits you at the palace",my mom asked for the second time
"Yes mother,I am ready don't worry I'll make our family proud",I said as I smiled at her
"Okay, anything to make you happy,go prepare dinner",my mom ordered me
"Okay mom",I said as I left for the kitchen
NIGHT|
I had a little bit of excitement in me,I can't wait to start living in the palace but I was a bit worried on how am going to hide my secret from other male knights
I just never thought of that,it would be hard to bath and change my out fit,because it's a big risk and I would need all the privacy I can obtain as possible
I never thought of the hard training and the hardship I would go through,it would be a really long task for me
Well a really bright adventures awaits me at sunrise tommorow
I laid my head on my bed and allow nature carry out it's work
NEXT DAY|
I did exactly what my mom asked me to do the next morning,I quickly bath,get dressed in my knight outfit and left our compound,I was asked to stay at a building close to our street,so that when I see the royal guards coming I will follow them from behind when they are one meter away,I hope that she handles her part properly.
•MRS HEIST POV•
I sat on my corridor not knowing what to expect, different thought were running through my mind I tried my best to hold back my tears
What have I done?, I'm giving my only daughter out to risk her life,I just don't know what to do
I pray it go as planned,I could hear stomping of horses I think that's the royal guards I quickly wipe my tears of my face and put on a bright smile
I wanted them to think everything is okay
The royal guards rode into my compound with their horses,I was the first to approach them
"Greetings royal guards,what a beautiful carriage you have",I complimented them
"Greetings to you too,we have brought the royal carriage and we don't have much time where is your son?",the chief commander asked
"Oh!,I forgot to tell you the last time you visit,he is coming from another kingdom so he won't be arriving early today,why not wait for him,he would be arriving here very soon",I said with a warm smile on my face
"Mrs heist,like I said we don't have much time",The royal guard said with a angered look
"Please my son....",I was Interupted by the stomping of horse I heard,I turned to see who was riding on the horse,"oh!,here come my son,what a ray of sunshine",I said as I smile at alora who was all dressed in a knight outfit with her hair tied up giving her a mankind look,I hold back my tears and try not to cry

{Horse neigh}alora who now identity as Alexander unmounted her horse
"Greetings guards of the royal family, greetings mother", Alexander said with a smile on her face
"Greetings my son,you're all grown up now",I said as I hugged Alexander so tight,deep down in me I never wanted to let go,I understand what was happening and I was in pain, Alexander in return hugged me tightly
"I know mom am all matured and you haven't aged a bit", Alexander complimented me with a warm smile
"Oh stop,am a old woman now my son,am already aging",I said as I caressed her cheek
The royal guard cough to get our attention
"Young man you have been chosen by custom to act as a knight after your dad for the royal family",the chief commander said staring at Alexander
"Yes am aware,my mother has told me alot about our tradition", Alexander said in return with a firm look
"Good,we may take our leave now, Alexander heist, hop into the carriage",the chief commander said pointing at the carriage behind him
"So quick!,my son just arrived he need to rest a bit,at least get to drink water",I said holding Alexander by the hand firmly
"Am sorry madam there is no time,we must leave now!",the chief commander yell at me
"My so.....",I was Interupted by Alexander
"Don't worry mother,I'll be fine", Alexander said as she stared at me deep into my eyes,I gently loosen the grip on her and gave her a hug
"Stay safe alora, always remember where you're from",I whispered into alora ears as I draw her closer
"Mother,good bye", Alexander said as she hopped into the carriage
I stood there and watch them leave
•ALEXANDER POV•
I sat on the carriage and shove my head out of the window to bade my mother good bye,I was anxious and the same time worried
A gentleman who I assume to be a guard was sitting beside me
"Greetings fellow knight",I said to the man expecting something in return
"Greetings young man,am not a knight am just a mere guard",the man said staring blank into the atmosphere like queen Elizabeth guards
"Oh!,I thought you were a knight",I said in a apologetic tone
"No way,royal knight has a higher rank over a mere guard,you're one lucky guy",the man said with a smile as he turned his face at me
"Thanks",I said to exhibit my appreciation,"so you must know much about the royal knight",I said trying to ask him more questions so as to know what to be expecting when I arrive there
"Yes I do know alot,have been a guard since I was 17,it's been 10 year now",the man said with a deeper voice
"Oh!,sorry bad manners,what's your name?",I asked the man who seems to be interested in our discussion
"Am Bradford",the man said calmly this time around
"Okay,so brad ford tell me what you know about the royal knight",I said staring at him
"The royal knight are the most fierce and we'll trained in the country,they undergo harsh and merciless trainings because they are the ones protecting the royal family", Bradford said,he stopped and took a sip of water,"they are categorized into three type the personal ordeal which is the knight assigned to the king,the eyes of the crown prince, this is the knight assigned to the crown prince and the webs,they are the knight that can be assigned to carry out any task,it can be security when traveling, passing information...",I interupted him
"Sorry to interrupt you,which of this has the most honor?",I asked looking eager to know
"The eyes of the crown prince,is the most honored royal knight,the personal ordeal is second in power while the web is just like us normal guards but they live in the palace and are well trained than us", Bradford said as he threw his cup out of the window
"What position does a knight loses privacy",I asked sir Bradford
"The webs,they don't have enough privacy,they bath together,they live together and mostly do all things together,while the personal ordeal has his own personal courtyard but they do eat with the webs,on the other hand the eye of the crown prince has a higher level of privacy",sir Bradford said
"When you say bath,do you mean like they go naked",I asked because I was worried,what if I was chosen as a web,it would be hard keeping my secret
"Yes,you look so worried are you homosexual or are you hiding something?", Bradford asked sarcastically,I could tell from the smile on his face
"No way!,I was just bothered",I said as I rolled my eyes

the guard in charge in the compass yelled
Hmmmn,a new world await me,deep down in me I prayed to get the personal ordeal role
I don't want to be a web,it would be hard to survive

I did the same too,we walked a few meters,where our tent was made
seven tent was constructed with a camp fire,I was showed to my tent,this was the first night I'm going to spend without my mother by my side,I felt alone.
I was invited to sit by the camp fire,the guards prepared a meal that we ate for dinner
I went to my room to rest
MORNING|
I woke up with a slight headache,I needed a cup of water,so I walked out to look for Bradford
The whole camp site was empty,I was scared to the core,I look around but saw no one,only the fire burning weakly
"Brad ford!!,royal guards!!, Any one!!",I yelled in fear
I heard rustles in the bushes behind me,I quickly pulled out a sword {my dad sword} I remained on guard
When I saw a figure coming out from the bush I was controlled by fear I quickly slashed the direction
"WOW!!!",sir brad ford scream as he dodge the sword letting go off all the fire wood he had gathered
"What's your problem son?",sir Bradford asked with anger in his face
"Am so sorry I heard rustling in the bush I thought it was some sort of wild animals",I said to defend myself
"No problem son,next time be more careful",sir Bradford said as he bent down to gather the firewood
"Where did everyone go?",I asked in surprise
"They are around the corner taking their bath,we must not arrive at the palace smelling",sir brad ford said as he added some of the fire wood to the fire which was burning weakly
"What!?,you mean naked,in the forest?",I asked as fear creeped into my mind
"Yeah son,I mean there is no one around and we're on the path where travellers barely stop to take a rest,it's more like a private area",sir brad ford said as he started taking of his clothes
"Okay,what are you doing?",I asked sir Bradford who was already half naked
"Am going to bath with the boys,why don't you come along",sir Bradford asked,this time around he was fully naked,I felt dizzy like I was going to faint
I was sweating profusely and anyone could tell that I am worried
"No no no, don't worry I'll bath here you guys go bath",I said as I turned my back
"Okay,make it fast we don't have all the morning glory", Bradford said as he walked into the bushes
I could hear laughter of men from the bushes some where discussing while some were comparing dick size,at least that what's it sound like
I quickly put away my clothes behind my tent
I had collected a bucket of water from the tent of Bradford,I quickly bath and get dressed before anyone figure me out
