Ryan's pov:
As we went to the shipment point. The place is very silent I asked my men to be careful as anything can happen.
Matt: the ship will be soon on deck. But I know Nicholas will try to attack us without warning so we should be careful.
Ryan: yes I know.
Soon our ship reached deck after checking around I asked my men to bring the package. As soon as my men got the package down from the ship. Nicholas's men started firing and some of my men got injured. We started counter-firing. Most of his men got injured and some got killed, Nicholas got very angry and sat in his car ready to leave when he fired a bullet that went straight to Matt's left chest and Matt fell on the ground screaming. As soon I saw it I asked some of my men to cover me and others to rescue Matt. I was so angry.
Ryan: YOU SON OF BITCH!
I killed all his men but Nicholas has left after shooting Matt. Coward left his men without helping them.
We took Matt and the other injured men to our private hospital (as we couldn't take them to the regular hospital because of police) and soon doctors told us that they had removed the bullet but the next 48 hours were critical for Matt.
I was so angry with myself that I didn't protect my brother. Soon Father came and asked for Matt and comforted me.
Gabriel: don't worry son, Matt will be alright.
I am so alone and sad, I needed my angel by my side. I can't tell her right now everything but I need her by my side. I left the hospital and went to her hostel. It was late but I didn't care. I went straight to her room and knocked at her door. As soon as she opened her door. She was shocked to see me but I didn't give her a chance to reply I just hugged her and cried, I have never cried in front of anyone except Matty but the situation is hell and she is the only one who touched my heart after Matt. Now he is in danger and I didn't protect him. I was broken. She didn't back away just put her hand on my back and led me to her room and we sat on her bed.
Farah: Ryan what happened? Why are you crying, Ryan?
Her voice was so worried, I looked into her eyes and her face gave me little relief.
Ryan: Matt... Matt
I was not able to say a single word. She said to me worriedly.
Farah: what happened to Matt? Is he alright?
Ryan: no he is in hospital, he is serious, doctors told us that 48 hours are critical. I am worried Farah, it's killing me, Farah. I can't lose him, he meant everything to me.
Without saying anything she took me in her arms and said in a comforting tone, he is going to be fine and everything is going to be fine. Her voice gave me a little relief. I don't know how she does it but it helped me to relax a bit.
Farah: we need to inform Elena and we all have to go to the hospital.
Poor Elena she will be Shattered. Soon Farah left her room and went to Elena's room.
