Jerome knew he shouldn't show mercy to his enemies, especially the person who killed his adoptive father. However, he no longer felt an aura of hostility or killing intent from the fox man, especially after the fox man recognized him.
The problem was that Jerome had never met this old fox man. He was doubtful whether his enemy was trying to trick him or whether this person truly recognized him.
If only he had memories of his biological family, he wouldn't have any doubts. Even though Jerome worshiped his adoptive father, he couldn't deny his curiosity about his birth father and mother. He also wanted to know whether he had a brother or sister.
"Do you know me?" Jerome didn't understand why his mouth was asking that question since he had to avenge the death of his adoptive father. However, he was very curious, and his curiosity prevailed over his anger and desire for revenge.
