CHARLES'S POV
Mary wasn't the one that pulled that trigger, rather it was the nurse behind her and it was Mary she shot, causing her to fall to the ground immediately. I looked at the nurse to see something like a chip on her neck and I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
She was being controlled by him but how did they even get to her, that really didn't matter right now but I needed to do something about her and attend to Mary's wounds for she was still awake and trying to stop more blood from rushing out of her.
I looked at the gun beside her but I was having the nurse's attention and just as she wanted to shoot me Mary pulled the trigger and boy was I glad that I actually taught her how to shoot a gun.
"Good job, stay awake and give me a second."
"Hurry." I ran towards the room and looked for the first aid box wherever it was and ran back.
