Chapter 28 - 028: Just Death

Incidentally, the phrase float like a butterfly and sting like a bee flew through Divyat's head as he ducked down under a surge of tails. Looks like the fox girl could extend it to larger proportions and use them like projectiles. He ducked down underneath all of them before coming face to face with the lizard man that had first attacked him. A wild claw swipe was sent to Divyat's face which he skillfully evaded by taking a step back, and then quickly stepping right back in as he overextended himself.

Apart from being a bit stronger than most of them, matching and surpassing a level of strength that even those of them with races naturally attuned to strength were found lacking. Divyat was well faster than all of them, their attacks were normal for people within their cultivation range, and when Divyat decided to pay a little more attention to it, he realized they were all with the foundation establishment realm, yet in the grand scope of things they were slow….so slow.

His right hand grabbed the neck of the lizard man, and while he hadn't gotten strong enough to the point where he could completely crush his traches, he had enough strength to cause dire damage as he squeezed, raised the Lizard man up and sent him flying back with more ease than he had expected. The strength of those in the foundation establishment realm was measured in horses. And at the late foundation establishment realm that he currently was, Divyat was beginning to bear the strength of at least twenty horses, when normally it should be the strength of 10 horses and double at peak foundation establishment realm.

The result was a lizard man thrown like a bowling pin into most of his comrades while four others seemed to have evaded him. The fox girl still choosing to attack from a distance with her tails, another wolf man, a rat man? And a tauren? Because this guy had fur while the Minotaur had skin. Divyat met their charge with one extremely focused mind. He ducked under the piercing rush of the fox tails, weaving beneath and besides them like he was using some elaborate dance. The wolf man leaped at him, and right from the air Divyat gave a response.

[Rain Dancer Fist: Lover's Rain]

Three very quick, yet seemingly slow jabs, met the wolf man in the air. There was a loud blast as blood and water blasted out from his back, both coming together in a red pink mist that formed the shape of a heart before falling to the ground like rain droplets. Divyat did not stay back to take a closer look at the result of using this technique for the first time against a living being. He bit back a grunt of pain as the rat man went low and sliced his hamstrings to ribbons. Divyat faltered not at all expecting the pain, and this pretty much brought his inexperience to bear, and even more so since Divyat was never someone who trained how to use a fist to fight. Assuming his bow or any bow was in his hand right now, all these people would be dead.

Two tails surged forwards, quickly stabbing him in his chest before the third gored through him, bursting out his back before quickly pulling out. Divyat stumbled forwards, his insides burning as he fell to his knees, coughing up blood in the process. He raised his head up to look, noticing that the lizard man had stopped struggling from his crushed trachea, his eyes vacant as they stared up at the blank cave ceiling. The remaining eight gathered around Divyat in a circle, fury and hate still etched on their faces.

"Look what you've done you bastard human! Why couldn't you just die you bitch!" Divyat raised an eyebrow at them. A little bit of confusion on his face as he cocked his head to the side with a small yet pained smile as he asked, coughing out blood in the process while an icy cool feeling seemed to replace the pain he was feeling.

"So you expect me to sit back and wait for you to kill me? I never did anything wrong to you." Divyat said to them as he clutched his midriff a little bit tighter, and struggled to get back up to his feet, blood rapidly pooling on the ground beneath him. However, none of them noticed the wisps of vapor rising from his blood, or noticed the chill in the air as Qi slowly and quickly danced within Divyat's body, while the Qi outside of his body was slowly being absorbed, and straight into the wounds on his body.

"Death is even too good for you human!" the fox girl or was it woman? Answered, and in doing so she spat at Divyat, an action that was quickly replicated by the others until a bloodied Divyat was covered in wads of saliva. If he wasn't angry before, he was well and truly angry now, or perhaps the proper word to be used is furious.

A wild blast of Qi spread out from his body as steam, or rather cold fog wafted off his body. His assailants took more than a few steps backwards, surprised and even more shocked as Divyat's wounds began to hiss close, and the place his blood had touched rapidly froze until it was a red crystal with Divyat in the middle like some delicate flower. His hair took on a startling change, turning rapidly white with streaks of icy blue in them, fangs slid out of his mouth as claws became his finger nails. Qi gathered above his head and illusory antler like horns, as Divyat looked at them with wrath in his eyes, his entire being completely taken by the rage in his heart.

"I'm going to fucking KILL YOU!"

As he spoke fog billowed out of his mouth and nostrils, freezing the very air itself, as his assailants, looked on at him with fear and shock on their faces. Someone amongst them muttered with a quiver.

"Elemental manifestation Realm!" however Divyat had an answer for that.

"No….just death!"
