Her mouth gaped at the doctor's words.
"W-wait, what you're saying is impossible a-ahahahahaha-ha-ha. Nah." Her laughter stopped when she saw that the doctor was serious, the excitement that was seen on her face earlier had already vanished.
"As I've read your resume, it was written there that you love animals more than humans," the doctor laughed for a moment, after she had finished laughing she continued.
"That was the sole reason why I have accepted you to be my assistant part-timer, well as you said you love animals, so you might know a lot about them." She pointed her finger outside, motioning to the creature outside.
"You must know the difference between a dog, specifically a Siberian husky, and a Wolf." It was true that she had forgotten to differentiate the looks between a Siberian husky and a Wolf, but the wolf had a rare eye color, it was the color of ash.
The moment she saw its eye color, she had just concluded that it was husky and didn't think over the possibility that it could be a wolf. And wolves don't have a gray-colored eye, the rarest eye color that they could only have been green eyes! Not gray!
"B-but, Wolv-ves doesn't have gray eyes, while Siberian huskies had the highest possibility to have gray eyes." She explained.
Then she compared the image of a Siberian husky in her mind and the one outside of the clinic.
The eye color, the shape of the eyes, the angels, the color of its fur, body shape, and ears. She gulped as she slowly realized that it was indeed, a wolf.
"Indeed it is a wolf, but I don't think that it imprinted on me. Come on Dr. Sanchez that's absurd." She thought that it was crazy, the wolf didn't even want to be touched by her earlier, so why would it imprint her?
Ada sighed at how presumptuous Hina is.
"You know what? I should be angry about the way you talked to me, I'm your boss. But I feel comfortable with the way we converse so I'm gonna let it be this way. By the way, you can start working here tomorrow, we open at 6 a.m and we close at 6 p.m." she continues nodding her head as Ada kept on explaining to her their schedule.
"For now, you should go home and rest maybe?" Ada said as she tapped her shoulders with a light smile plastered on her face.
"Thank you Dr. Ada I'll do my very best!" She waved her hand as she went outside of the clinic, not giving a single glance to the wolf who was staring at her.
Not minding about the wolf, Sera started walking. She decided to go shop for some groceries before going back home, so she went to 'Gaisano' which was just a walking distance of their house.
After 10 minutes of walking she finally arrived there, she quickly entered the building and went around looking for some can good, necessities and some other kinds of stuff. After paying at the counter, she quickly went off and go home.
She took her phone from its confinement, plugged her headphones, and listen to some music.
She was singing along to the music while walking, with her hands holding her groceries slightly swaying, following her hands' movements.
As she blended into the crowd to walk on the pedestrian lane, she sang the lyrics on her head while humming a little.
As the crowd of people walked to cross the street, she slowly followed, not wanting to bump other people. She was halfway crossing the street when a running guy bumped into her, making her fall to the ground butt first.
Her phone fell, her headphone was unplugged and the music was still playing.
"Ouch, my back." She said as she rubbed her aching back because of the impact.
"Tsk! That bastard didn't even look back at me to apologize." She carefully stood up from the ground while wiping off some dirt.
Sera was about to pick her groceries off the ground when a loud shriek and a blinding light caught her attention.
"Watch out!"
*BEEEEEEEEP*
But before the vehicle could even close its distance towards her, something or maybe someone pulled her out of the street with brute force.
"Oh my God! Are you okay miss?!"
She was about to answer back when she heard a low growl behind her, her eyes went wide at the realization.
She quickly looked behind her, to see a pair of cold silver eyes looking straight at her soul.
'It's that Wolf from earlier!"
"I'm fine," she said just to quickly dismissed the woman who was practically worried about her.
Dismissing the thoughts on her mind, she quickly got up, took her still okay goods, and phone then continued walking like nothing dangerous had happened to her.
She just walked and walked, until she felt someone pulling the hem of her shirt. But when she looked back, it was the wolf. It was following her all this time.
Sera can't help herself stare at its silver eyes, twinkling like the stars.
As the music continues to play, Sera had already given up on the fact that the wolf in front of her had imprinted on her. Shaking her head she smiled in the wolf's direction.
"Let's go home."
