Chapter 14 - Chapter 14

I can't believe that my mom is happy that I'm pregnant. Also, here we are at a five-star restaurant with my mom and Riden's parents. The crappy part is I'm dressed in a vast hoodie that I stole from Riden's SUV, and I'm also wearing sweatpants to match. I'm so not dressed for a five-star restaurant.

"Welcome to Moon Night restaurant. I will be your waiter for today. My name is Sophie," smiled Sophie as she grabbed a notepad and a pen.

Sophie looks young, maybe in her early twenties. She had short red hair put in a bit of ponytail and some bobbing pins in the front so her band would not get in the way. Also, her skin was tan, making her red hair look bright, which made her green eyes darken a little.

"Thank you, we will have two lemonades and a bottle of your expensive red wine, please," smiled Roger as he looked at the waiter.

"I will be right back for those. Please let me know when you are ready to order," laughs Sophie as she walks away from the table.

I really thought Riden's father would be mean and scary like the photo I saw, but he is the complete opposite. He reminded me of my dad when he was alive. All happy and friendly. Always helping when he can, when someone needs it.

"So, Dearil, you might not remember me, but I was your father's best friend since childhood," smiled Roger as he looked at me.

"I'm sorry, I don't. I don't remember a lot of things since the accident," I said, trying not to make the table feel awkward.

"It's all good. It's excellent to see you all grown up. You look more like your father when he was your age," laughed Roger as he smiled, still looking at me.

"Thank you," I smiled, moving my hand to grab Ridens.

I just wanted to grab his hand and not let him go. I need him. He makes me feel safe. I know I sound selfish, but I want to feel safe when my dad was alive. I remember him always there when I felt sad or scared and the stories he told me or the things that I needed to learn and keep a secret, but that's all I remember. Not what he looks like unless I see a photo or how he made my mom happy or what he liked or what he didn't like. So I will try anything to just have this.

"So you both will be graduating before the baby is born. So what did you do after," Roger said as he looked at me rather than his son?

"After graduating, I was thinking about going straight to working for the family," Riden smiled as my hand locked into his.

"I might just go work for mom," I laughed because I had no idea what I was going to do.

"That's good; what about the wedding," Elizebeth smiled as the waiter brought the drinks.

"Thank you," Roger smiled, grabbing the wine bottle and pouring it into three glasses.

"Yes, a wedding," laughed Trixi, grabbing one of the glasses of wine.

Shit, I was not thinking about a wedding, not even crossed my mind. The only thing I can think of is how the school will be like being pregnant. Let alone tell Kathrine about it and tell her not to say anything unless it's Selena.

"Well, maybe after graduation?" Riden said as he took a drink from his glass.

"That is perfect," Laughed Roger, hugging his wife with excitement.

"Let's plan it for after graduation," smiled Elizebeth, making the hug into an adult group hug.

It really feels like this is not my wedding. My mom and Riden's parents are not even asking me what I think about this, but you can't stop two wealthy people in this town. Now I have more to tell Kathrine. She will go batshit crazy when I tell her I'm marrying the sexy god of our school and that I'm having his child in nine months. Also, everyone at school is going to find out, and it will make my life hell at school. But, at least I don't have to deal with my uncle if I marry Riden.

"I'm sorry about all this," whispered Riden as he leaned next to with a smile.

"It's okay. I wish I was dressed better," I laughed, trying to not feel weird about all this marriage talk.

"Why? I think you look really adorable in my clothes," Riden laughed, grabbing my hand and holding it.

Damn, why did he say that I feel embarrassed? Saying I look adorable, looking like the only one out of place here. With all this wine, these grown-ups make them look like teenagers having a party. At least mom is happy. Sometimes I feel like she is always at work and not having fun.

"So after the baby is born, the new house will be done for the boys to live in," said Roger smiling while pouring more wine in his glass.

"Yes, then they can feel better in a home than living in a crappy apartment. That everyone lives in these days," smiled Elisabeth moving her glass so Roger could pour more wine for her.

"Yes, but since they will be in the hospital for at least two to three days, we should make the house look like a home," said Trixi as she too gave Roger her glass.

What the hell? They are already planning on building us a home. Right after they planned the wedding. What next? Baby-names they could not use before. I want to go home and leave these people and just sleep till it's all over. Why does this not make Riden crazy? He looks okay with what they have planned.

After god knows how long, maybe three to four hours of eating, planning my life, and drinking a shit load of wine, they finally decided to call it a day. Thank god I would have died if this kept going on. Let's go home to sleep this day away.

"Waiter!" yelled Roger as he lifted his hand up to signal the waiter to come to him.

"Yes sir, how may I help you," smiled Sophie when she got next to Roger.

"We are ready. Can you please bring the check," smiled Roger before turning to look at his wife.

"Right away, sir," said Sophie as she walked away.

"Can you call the driver sweetheart," Roger said as she kissed Trixi.

Right after, Sophie handed Roger the check. God only knows how much the bill was from not only the food but the shit load of wine they drank. Finally, we all got up to leave the restaurant.

"We will give you guys a ride," laughed Roger as he handed the check and his credit card to the front desk person, "Don't worry about your car. Just give the driver your keys, and he will bring your car to your house."

"If you say so," laughed Elizabeth, grabbing her keys from her purse.

When we walked out. There was a black SUV waiting for us. What is up with them having SUVs and not like a fancy limo? It would make sense to have a fancy limo, but nope a fancy black SUV that holds up to five people in the back and one up front, including the driver. I can just see all three forty years old's laughing and whispering in the back like little kids telling secrets.

"Let's get the show on the road!" yelled Roger as the driver walked out of the SUV and opened the back door.

"We will be going to the Cooper residents on Frost River Street," smiled Trixi before going into the SUV.

"As you wish, ma'am," said the driver as he bowed his head a little.

The Diver looked the same age as Riden's driver Law, but he was a little shorter by five inches. The driver had bright red hair and dark brown eyes with freckles from his upper left cheek to his upper right. Making it look like a line of freckles. He does look familiar.

"This is Coran Cinder," said Riden as he hugged me from behind, "He is Law's husband."

"I thought omegas are not allowed to work at your estate," I said, looking up to look at Riden.

"Nope, there are at least four omegas that work for us," smiled Riden as he hugged me tighter before letting go.

"Are you guys talking about me," smiled Coran, still holding the door open, "I've been working for the family since I left my orphanage. When I was eighteen years old."

"It's nice to meet you. I meet your husband and your daughter Halsey," I smiled, trying to make him think I'm not a dick. Because who knows all the people he has met.

"Law can be scary sometimes, so try not to piss him off," laughed Coran as my mom got into the SUV finally after struggling to get in, "and my daughter is just like him, but I love them both. Although, just between you and me, I like my son more. He is just like me. Hair and all."

"That is true. Little Robby is mellow and not as hyper as Halsey is," laughed Riden as he got into the SUV.

"It is good to meet you, Coran," I said as I got in the car so he could close it.

When we got to my house, my mom and I got out of the SUV. Before I shut the door, Riden grabbed my hand and leaned me in to kiss him in front of everyone. God damn, why does he like to embarrass me all the time? Especially in front of my mom.

"Good night, Dearil. See you tomorrow at school," smiled Riden as she kissed my hand.

"Good night Riden," I blushed a little from being more embarrassed, "also good night, Mrs. and Mr. Richerson."

"Good night, sweety," smiled Trixi waving at me from the back.

"Good night my boy," grinned Roger as he two waved at me.

"Also, see you later, Coran," I smiled, looking at him at the driver's side.

"See ya later," nodded Coran.

Right, when the SUV's door closed, they drove off. Bed my sweet bed. I'm coming for you and never waking back up for a long time. Even though I won't sleep forever, I will keep wishing for that day to come.
