Chapter 2 - EPISODE 2 - The Lore of the School

Lelia observed her surroundings to see any signs of moving, however, the bathroom has gone quiet.

"It's gone? Thank goodness," she sighed in relief.

She stares at the mirror, wondering what to do.

"So, what exactly do I do about this?"

She leaves without uttering a word.

"I guess it was the ghost's fault, not mine."

Back in the classroom, she sits back down on her chair.

She was exploring her thoughts, "But seriously, this place is haunted? That's pretty unlucky."

...

..

.

"But then again, this is a school, so it isn't really all that surprising."

Lelia continued to daydream but then suddenly, she heard a soft voice coming from her right.

"Pssst," the girl beside called her.

She glances at the girl.

"You're new here, right?" she asked.

The girl had silky black hair, with brown eyes, a normal high school student, if you'd ever see one. Nothing too distinguishable except for the dog hair clip she was wearing.

"Uh, yeah."

The people were still introducing themselves in front of the class, so the girl made sure to shorten the distance between their faces so that her words would reach them.

"My name is Ueno Yuuka-san, call me Yuuka," she assorted willingly.

"Nice to meet you, Yuuka. But isn't that your first name?"

"I don't mind."

"Ah, I see then."

...

..

.

Yuuka asked her, "So, what's your favorite animal?"

"Hmm, I like dogs."

"REALLY? ME TOO!"

"Of course you do, you're already wearing a clip of a dog," she murmured to herself.

"You see, I've been in this school, since the 7th grade, so I pretty much know everything this school has to offer," she boasted.

"Ah, I see."

"Would you like me to give you a tour of the school?"

"Are you sure?" she asked her to reassure her decision.

"Don't worry, it's all fine," she pounds her chest with a wink.

"This girl's gonna be a real handful, isn't she?" she thought.

"I'll show you around once it's break time."

Lelia puts out a thumbs-up.

12:00 NN

The bell rings. It's lunchtime.

"Ah, It's lunchtime. Now, now, are you ready for the grand tour of our school?" she asked willingly.

"It sure would help if I don't accidentally go into the wrong rooms, doesn't it?"

"Great!" she shouted in joy as she stood up from her chair.

Yuuka grabs Lelia's hand and pulls her out of her desk.

"Woah!"

"Come on!"

They both head out of the door.

Yuuka began explaining, "Right now, we're on the second floor, this is the hallway, over there," she pointed to the far left, "Over there, we have the bathrooms and this floor is basically filled with classrooms."

Lelia was trying to follow her, she spoke so fast, that she found it hard to look away for even a second.

"LET'S GO UPSTAIRS!"

Without any thought, she pulled Lelia up the stairs. When they arrived on the 3rd floor, she immediately continued her blabber, "Now here we have the cafeteria, sure enough, you can see it to your right, the library is to your left, and the rest is totally classrooms again, let's go up one more floor!"

"WAI-"

Without any regard for her word, she pulls her again and goes up one more floor. Upon reaching the 4th floor, she suddenly opens her mouth, "And here, we have the floor with classrooms, only. Boring. LET'S GO UP ONE MORE FLOOR!"

"WAIT! WAIT!"

"Hm? You don't like the tour?"

"Um, I think in tours, you're supposed to explore the places you show?"

"Really? But I don't think you'd find anything too interesting in these classrooms, though."

"I'm fine with that, I'd like to explore the scenery a bit more please."

"Alright, alright."

"THANK GOODNESS, I WOULD'VE SUFFOCATED JUST BY SIMPLY TRYING TO KEEP UP WITH HER WORDS," this was what she really thought.

The two young maidens explored the floors in full detail this time, looking at the beige tiles of the floor, the white ceiling, and the shiny windows. Before finally, having enough of it. There were two floors they left unexplored and decided that Lelia choose one before they finish it off for the day.

She sighs, "Aw, lunch break is almost over and I wanted to tell you something cool too."

"Don't worry, I'm sure we still have a bit of time, you can tell me while we explore."

"So what floor would you like to explore? The top? I mean, it makes sense that we choose the top floor since it's closer and all."

"Hmm, the first floor."

"Aw, I knew i- WHAT?" she was alarmed at her answer, "BUT WHY? IT'S CLOSER!"

"Hm, I kinda want to see what the first floor has to show."

"THE TOP FLOOR HAS A MUCH BETTER VIEW!"

"Then we can save that for last."

She was clearly disappointed. So, Lelia comforted her.

"Alright, then. Let's explore the first floor."

They then go down the stairs, upon reaching the stairs of the third floor, Osamu happened to be climbing up the stairs. When they intercepted paths, Lelia felt as if something heavy was inside her. She paused in her footsteps and gazed at him.

"W-What was that?"

"Was that me? Or?" she was wondering.

She shook her head, "No, I'm sure it's nothing."

"Hm? Is something the matter, Lelia-san?

"No, nothing at all! Let's go see the rest of what this school has to offer before lunch ends."

They finally reach the first floor, they explored the entirety of its construction such as looking at the door of the principal's office and the teachers' lounge, beside only the office, and many more such as free rooms.

"What are these rooms for?" Lelia curiously asked.

"Gee, I'm not sure," she said as she looked up at the ceiling thinking, "ah! I got it. I think these may be rooms prepared for clubs!"

"Clubs?"

"Yeah! We have here all kinds of clubs, of course, I joined the Student Council last year, I was the Secretary, I had lots of things to do last year. Lelia, did you join a club back in Italy?"

"Um, no, I don't really think I joined any clubs."

"Aww, well let's leave that talk for later. Speaking of which, do you like rumors, Lelia-san?"

"Rumors? I can't say that I don't."

"Have you heard... of the Seven Wonders of the School?"

"Seven Wonders?"

"I'm sure, everyone pretty much makes up their own Seven Wonders in every school, but regardless, they're pretty entertaining, no?"

"I guess so."

"So, about that, have you ever heard of... 'Hirata-san of the Stalls'?"
