There was nothing to think about. Kara was keen on putting me in trouble; maybe she felt her powers would stop Iris from poisoning the both of us. Who knew what she had learned in her time away?
The wind picked up, and the birds found safer spots to stand on to avoid being blown away. I picked up my full can and strolled back to my horse. Iris strolled purposefully towards me.
"Kara is right. We should find an inn to stay in for the day and travel at night. We covered a lot of ground because we traveled at night." Iris said coldly.
I knew she was wrong, but I did not feel like opposing her. We covered a lot of ground simply because we did not stop to rest, day or night. It did not matter.
"Let us rest at night instead," I replied, trying to come to a compromise. But she shook her head.
