Chereads / Her Demon Wolf / Chapter 10 - THE BEGINNING.

Chapter 10 - THE BEGINNING.

IRIS.

We both rode our horses back to the village in the rain. When we got back, Andor helped me off my horse. We ran into the castle without soaked clothes. Andor pulled my arm back as I tried to climb up the stairs, our eyes met, and he held my stare.

"I'll walk you to your room," He said, breaking the awkward silence.

I nodded, and we left a trail of water droplets that led to my door.

"Good night, my Lord," I said. "I had an amazing time with you."

He smiled, and I closed my door, but it refused to shit. Andor prevented the door from closing by putting in between the door and its lock.

Then, he entered my room and closed the door. I could hear his breathing from the other side of the room, like he was trying hard to control himself.

"Come here." He said.

I walked over to him, stretched on my toes and started to kiss him. He removed my wet dress from my body and embraced my warmth. I took off his wet shirt and trousers, and our lips kept crashing against each other.

My breasts were bare on his chest, and he held me tightly as we kept brushing our lips together.

My whole body was electrified by the sensations of pleasure that erupted throughout.

He pushed me to the wall and nibbled on my peaks. I moaned out loud as I caressed his hair.

Euphoria filled. I let him pick me up and take me to the bed. He put me down gently and slid his giant fingers inside my most sensitive place.

I moaned with pleasure as his finger pressed against my folds, my wetness enveloped his fingers, and he licked it.

Then, he slid my legs apart and slid his shaft into me. I moaned with delight, and he continued delivering strokes after stroke.

As I savoured every stroke, I held him tightly.

"Don't stop," I said softly.

"No one leaves paradise intentionally." He replied.

The following day, I woke up to see Andor curled up close to me. He slept soundly and placed his hands in the middle of his thighs like a kid. I kissed his forehead, and he smiled softly.

"Did you dream about me?" He asked.

"No. I was scared that yesterday was a dream, so that I couldn't sleep." I explained.

"That's funny." He explained as he planted a kiss on my lips.

"What about you?" I asked.

"I don't dream." He replied dryly.

Andor got up and dressed up quickly. "I have matters to attend to in the village. Meet me in the great hall when you are ready."

I nodded back, and he left my room. I felt odd about his request that I meet him in the great hall. I was not the luna, so I could not stand at his side when he made decisions.

And it also felt strange just watching from the crowd when I wanted to be by his side. Regardless of my reservations, I prepared to join him.

Luna Agatha stood outside the great hall and greeted everyone as they went in. I was about to walk past when she tapped me on the shoulder. On her face was a small smile and a pleasant demeanour.

When her son was, she did not speak to me. She only instructed that the servants made sure my clothes were ready, and a bath was always made when I needed it to be.

I felt like that was the most that she could do for me in those circumstances, and it was her way of making sure that I was always taken care of.

"Can I have a word with you, Iris?" She asked.

I nodded, and she took a stroll away from the hall. I ran after her.

"Every mother wants the best for their children, Even if they can't provide it." Luna, Agatha started. "I like you, Iris. But I want to know if your intentions for my son are pure. I am worried that this is a ploy to get back at him for your father's death."

I was startled. She was direct and easily conveyed her thoughts without fear. It was common for Luna to radiate the confidence of an Alpha, but I was seeing it firsthand.

"I love your son. And I would never harm him." I replied.

She waited for me to say something else, and when she was sure I would speak, she continued. "I knew your father very well. We became friends after I married Andor's father. I always knew that he would die over something silly."

I did not know what to say, so I kept quiet.

"No one knows why a wolf chooses their mate. My late husband said that felt a primal attraction to me. I never understood what he met by that, but it seems like my son does."

"I was drawn to him like a moth to a flame," I replied.

My reply seemed to startle her.

"Very well then," she answered back. "Thank you for speaking with me."

"The honour was all mine, luna," I replied.

"We should head back to the great hall. My son would have started speaking by now; we should hear what he has to say with our ears so we might form our own opinions."

I smiled softly, and we walked back.

"These are different times; our safety is at risk." Andor had already started speaking. "The vampires have decided that we should be extinct; they have found a witch willing to do a spell to end us."

His words were greeted with murmurs. "But they will fail." He continued. "We'll protect the last ingredient of their spell and protect our race. Princess Jennifer has been brought inside these walls, and we have been tasked to protect her."

I immediately thought he was making a mistake, telling them about Jenifer. People who felt killing Jennifer would be easier than protecting her. I turned to the luna, and the look she gave me suggested that she felt some way as well.

But, there was one thing that I couldn't ignore. No one would be stupid enough to challenge Andor after what he did to my father.
