Andor
I listened to Dafe ramble on about his family for the next fifteen minutes, and in that time, the hunger had subsided. It turned out that all I needed was a distraction from the growling in my stomach. I knew it would not be enough to stop the hunger, but it worked for now.
"So, you intend on continuing your travels with the army you are now a part of forever?" I asked.
He nodded back.
"I think you should wait for your kids to be born, grow up and choose their paths. No one likes an authoritative father." I answered.
"You followed the path of your father, as the Alpha of the Red siren pack. Has it not brought you joy and fulfillment?" He replied.
"Joy? Fulfillment?" I asked in between laughs. "Only if it were that easy."
"You do not feel proud following in your father's footsteps?" He said.
"I would not say that I am. I did not reject this life, nor did I want it. But it is mine. I have accepted it." I replied.
