I walked past Marius, pretending not to hear him say anything. If he wanted to plan to kill Andor, he could do it alone. I did not need to be an audience.
I went straight to my room; it felt different being there, even if I had not been away for so long. Maybe, it was because the guards were no longer stalking the halls. I opened my door and found Margery sitting on my bed. She had a small smile on her face. I locked the door and stood by the window.
"Your room is a lot more neatly arranged than mine." Said Margery. I did not know what to say; I thought she hated me and did not want to ever speak to me.
"Why are you speaking to me?" I asked. "I thought I was a backstabber that you never want anything to do with. Your words that day were enough torture; I do not need to feel worse." I said, demonstrating with my fingers as I spoke.
