Miriam tilted her head in my direction, which made me nervous. I did not know how to start the conversation with her. I wasn't exactly a people person; maybe I should have let Floki do this. He had no issues blabbing out his thoughts. She had a noble face, the kind that wouldn't harm anyone. Miriam kept tending to the plants. She had removed most of the weed, which gave the other flowers a better chance to bloom; I guess our nature shone through even when we did mundane activities."
"I know what you are," Miriam said, startling me.
"I don't understand," I replied.
Miriam stood up and tried to dust off the dirt from her hands as she closed the distance between us. She whiffed around me before she said again. "I was right."
"I don't understand what you mean," I answered, trying to feign ignorance.
"You smell just like him. I know that you're a werewolf. You and your friends." She said sternly.
