The atmosphere was quite thick with tension. The other wolves that had turned back to humans seemed like they were also ready to jump at me if the white-haired lady asked them to. Somehow, despite her young and frail features, she was the pack leader that attacked the other people and us.
Iris, while still dripping wet, stood beside me. "Can you ask her to at least give us a seat so we can discuss this without violence? They should see that they can not win."
"I can hear you." The white hair lady glared back at me. Iris glared back at her and replied. "We were on our own when your people attacked those innocent people, and then, my mate."
Hearing her call me her mate made me start to blush instantly. I did not hear her talk about me with words of adoration very often, so it stood out when she did, even, if it was in the heat of battle.
