Arthur keeps waving at me, his face radiating with happiness. I promised him I will take him out tonight. He has been there for me for the past three months; he has seen me in my darker moment. Technically, I am always in the dark and lowest point, but that isn't the point here.
His figure disappears completely and I decide to get out of there. He calls me on my way to work and jokes about how sad I looked watching him, he asks if I want to go in the next day and I joke back he shouldn't take advantage of me. I am not his butler. Today, I wanted to drive him to school so we could have a little time together.
Disturbingly, he informed me he misses me a lot. Even to a point that it runs deeper than when I wasn't home. I know, it is bad. It irks me, how can he miss me when I technically live with him? It was my idea to take him out so we could catch up. He asked me one thing, 'not Esmeralda Hotel.'
