Chereads / Kurumi Tokisaki's Planar Journey / Chapter 381 - Escape the Umbrella

Chapter 381 - Escape the Umbrella

Somewhere on a deserted island in the Pacific Ocean, at night, inside an underground experimental base belonging to Embraer.

"Damn! What is this place?"

The man's voice rang out in the darkness, his eyes gradually adjusting to the darkness, but he could only make out the general outline.

"Pfft", the man rolled straight off the bed, "Ahem, hoo~hoo~"

While moving carefully, he stretched out his hands to feel around there.

"Pah!"

The light was blinding, and the man shielded his hand from the light, his eyes contracting and spreading for a moment before adjusting.

Taking two more breaths, he felt bad about himself now, the taste of rust filling his throat as well as his mouth.

It was like having just run a marathon!

The muscles in his legs trembled every now and then, and if it wasn't for the man's strong willpower, I'm afraid he would have fallen to the ground by now!

The line of sight returned, in addition to a medical bed, the entire other side of the room was filled with experimental equipment.

There was a blue mark on the white floor, all the way from the lab bench to the bed, just like ... as if something had been dragged across it!

"Ahem!"

The man covered his mouth, his mind was now a jumbled mess and he couldn't recall even the slightest memory.

Coughing twice again, mouth that sprayed out a warmth, between the throat to ease a lot.

Hand in front of him, the man's eyelids that a slight twitch.

The phlegm was wrapped in blood, but it was blue.

It took a lot of wasted effort to get to the bathroom and dispose of the filth in his hand, sitting disheveled on the bed.

Eyes dull, a few bottles of blue potion from time to time into the eyes.

Mental and physical exhaustion made the man drowsy, as if a silhouette wearing a white coat appeared in his vision, standing in front of the experimental bench and busy back and forth.

Reaching out his hand, he wanted to call him, but the man disappeared again.

"Ah! Hoo~Hoo~"

The sudden pain in his head caused the man to clasp his hands to his skull.

The whole man slid down from the bed to the ground due to gravity, kneeling on the ground with both knees and holding his head with both hands in death!

The pain was about to make him lose his mind, only to feel layers and layers of memories pouring into his brain. His mouth opened and saliva flowed unconsciously from it.

The eyes were constantly occupied by blood filaments ... Those blood filaments, however, were a bizarre blue color!

"Boom!"

The head smashed heavily on the ground, the floor was intact, and when the head lifted up again, the floor was left with a touch of azure blue.

"Boom!"

Still in the same position, the head once again came into close contact with the ground.

"Boom boom boom!"

One sound after another, it was as if there was a worm arching around in the cerebral shell. The pain was unacceptable! But he hadn't fainted yet, it was unbelievable.

"Ka~"

The white floor was smashed alive by the man's forehead, scattering in a spiderweb style towards the perimeter.

There was no movement for a long time, only the sound of violent gasping resounded in the lab.

Kneeling on both knees, he pressed his head against the broken floor, his hands gripping his hair in a death grip. Spit mixed with blue blood stained the man's body.

Memories came flooding back like a tidal wave, a picture that included where he had lived before and who he had been in contact with.

The experimenter in the white lab coat was himself, seemingly working on a potion that targeted the nerves.

What exactly it was he could no longer recall.

"Hoo~"

The upper half of his body struggled off the ground and leaned back, his hands dropping naturally as he fell into the blue blood.

The light was right above the man, and the action made graphic sense from a shadow angle.

"Snap~"

Kneeling with his legs unsupported, the man's entire body leaned backward, his legs swinging back from the outside right into the vomit.

This position was comfortable.

At least the man felt so.

Half an hour later, the man stood up, holding onto the edge of the bed, and once again ran to the bathroom to clean up a bit.

It was as if some of the strength in his body had returned, but it was nowhere near as strong as it had been before.

"Bare! ~"

The stream of water was cut off and

The man lifted his head to look in the mirror, his middle-aged face full of vicissitudes, the fact that he was only in his early thirties.

There were already lifted lines on his forehead, and the lines at the corners of his eyes were even more pronounced. In person, he was more than ten years older than his age.

The upper half of his body leaned forward and used his hand to break open his left eye, the pupil had turned completely blue, although those blood filaments that wrapped around the white of the eye were still eerily azure.

It was just the same as the blood that flowed out of him.

What should have been blood red under the eyelids was now, as he expected, the same color as his own blood.

Broke open his right eye again, same.

Smith nodded to himself in the mirror, good. Having blue pupils was pretty common amongst white people.

But there weren't many that were as blue in color as he was, so pure that there wasn't a trace of impurity, I guess.

Perhaps a young child would have this purity as well.

You can't go too fast on your feet, you get out of breath. But the body wasn't as fragile as it had been at first.

Quickly, he came to the side of the lab table, where a pile of organized information lay neatly on top. Wiping the blue potion off the surface of the first sheet, Smith looked at it carefully.

His face was grave, the nerve problem had always been the direction he had tackled. It was not easy to have research results, but was rejected by the top of the actual test experiments.

After a few more experiments with mice, still could not get the data he wanted. The medicine has been refined by him several times, Smith has absolutely no way to improve again.

A brainstorm! Just used his own body to do an experiment!

Afterwards the full range of data was recorded and appeared in the computer.

Smith couldn't help but be thankful that he wasn't in the habit of connecting to the area network, or else once someone mobilized the data, he might have swept it all away!

Because ... His performance just now was by no means normal!

The medicine was injected before going to bed, and after that, his mind was a mess, and then he went to bed in a daze, until he lost his memory just now ...

The color of his face changed! Smith suddenly thought of the scene in which he worked in Embraer.

From the memory, how he was like a puppet on strings, signing contracts, doing experiments, and three points a day.

Even when he was transferred away from the company to a deserted island, he surprisingly didn't complain a bit!

His face became more and more cloudy, and a vicious light flashed in his eyes!

After quickly copying the information onto a USB flash drive and deleting it completely, Smith began to connect to the regional network to look up what he wanted.

As the information was being copied, the memories in Smith's mind were also turning over at a rapid pace.

It was finally fixed at the time of signing the contract, when they seemed to be taken into a separate laboratory ...

"Bare! --"

The chair pushed back and Smith quickly made his way to the lab bench to organize the potions.

Teeth clenched together until the three vials of blue potion were sealed, Smith said in a harsh voice, "Damn! We've all been hypnotized!"

Early in the morning, the lab was functioning and the personnel in charge of various projects were walking around, Smith was more certain of his suspicions after seeing them in such a state!

Glancing at the rest table in his hand, his whole body muscles tensed, he had to escape from here!
