"Say! Is it your doing good deeds?" Kurumi tugged at Red Queen, asking fiercely.
"What are you talking about?"
Her pretty face was still in Kurumi's grasp, and her speech was hard to decipher.
Kurumi released her, and immediately, Red Queen flew upward, rubbing her bright red cheeks.
With a resentful expression, she pouted, "I did it all for our master~ If I drive them all away, our master can finally rest!"
As she spoke, Red Queen raised her chest and head, brimming with confidence, thinking she had done the right thing.
Kurumi coughed lightly, pretending to be serious. "Does that unlucky guy caught have any relation to Captain America?"
Red Queen was still suspicious, hesitating momentarily before floating to the screen.
She shrugged her small shoulders and said, "They don't have any relation, Master. Please stop guessing randomly."
"How can that be?" Kurumi was puzzled. "They both have the same name, Steve!"
The redhead tugged at her lips. Seeing the hidden smile in her master's eyes, she knew what was on her mind.
She rolled her eyes and said, "If Master wants to meet other 'Steves,' I can introduce you to a miner."
Kurumi leaned on the edge of the chair with her arm, the golden sunlight casting a lazy veil on her.
"First, make me a cup of tea, please."
This made the redhead, who had just wanted to introduce 'Steve,' hold her words. She hung there with a dead fish eye expression, saying weakly, "No need to be polite."
Because Red Queen had no physical form, the operation was somewhat tricky and required significant computational power. Then, she simulated mental fluctuations and activated the magic patterns on those "enchanted" products.
At this moment, Kurumi finally looked somewhat serious, starting to review the information the redhead had sent her quickly.
Until the last piece of data appeared before her, Kurumi habitually pinched her smooth chin, squinting her eyes, sinking into her chair.
"It seems that Nick Fury has had a stroke of bad luck. Instead of recruiting people, he lost an experimental base. I'm curious how severe the damage to their data is.
Red Queen glanced at Kurumi, floating carefully beside her. "When the fire started spreading, I had already completely breached their independent system and made a copy of the data."
"Is there anything interesting?" Kurumi asked.
"Most of it is weird crime data, and some simulations, of which about eighty per cent are failed products, have long been confirmed in our civilisation. There are also some experiments and compilations about mutants and strange events, and I even found your DNA in there."
Kurumi stared at 'Steve's' haggard face. "What can it do for you?"
The redhead didn't seem to care. "At most, it's a better understanding of this world, this mutated 'Alpha' civilisation. And this civilisation is so uncertain, relying solely on a group of people to support it. If there's no one to inherit it in the future..."
"What will happen? Technological regression? Economic issues?"
"These are all minor." The redhead sighed, "There's a good chance this civilisation will lose its potential. Without a technological explosion in some time, it will be difficult to regain the glory left by our predecessors."
Kurumi looked at the redhead strangely and asked, "Has your civilisation experienced something like this?"
Red Queen seemed to remember something and nodded sadly. "According to the records in the database, the civilisation on our mother planet, which is in the same lineage as us, once reached the 'Theta' level. Later, for some unknown reason, there was a civilisation gap, which led to some crooked points in our technological tree."
Noticing Kurumi's increasingly bizarre expression, Red Queen continued, "So our civilisation has become highly advanced in artificial intelligence, but in other fields, it's no different from an ordinary 'Beta' level civilisation. But in some theories, we have already reached 'Gamma.'"
Listening to Red Queen whispering in her ear, Kurumi fell silent, already forming a rough picture in her mind.
The Red Queen's mood was not high, so Kurumi pondered for a moment and asked directly, "So, in the end, your civilisation..."
"Yes, it was devoured by other advanced civilisations. They wanted to master the knowledge we gained from the civilisation relics."
Red Queen fell into memories, fear flashing across her small face. "During that time, intelligent life was constantly being killed, and the remaining ones were also monitored, including the central AI of the civilisation. I don't even know if she's dead now."
Smiling, she continued, "Meeting you later was so fortunate!"
"Haha." Kurumi laughed lightly and instantly embraced Red Queen, reaching out to pinch her cheeks. "You can expect to have your cheeks pinched for the rest of your life!"
"Ah~!"
Finally, the redhead escaped from the "clutches" again, sighed in relief, and said, "Master, I came today to tell you that Steve, codenamed 'Survivor One,' has escaped from S.H.I.E.L.D. again."
Kurumi took a sip of warm tea. "I know. He set fire to that experimental base, didn't he?"
Red Queen nodded. "According to the remaining surveillance footage from the experimental base, it seems reasonable to attribute everything to him."
"What about 'Survivor Two'? I remember she's a woman, right?"
"Sorry, I couldn't find any information about her. It's as if she disappeared into thin air."
Kurumi furrowed her eyebrows slightly. "Not a single piece of information?"
"They've all been destroyed by S.H.I.E.L.D., and no one has entered any information into S.H.I.E.L.D.'s system since then."
While talking with the redhead, Kurumi felt something and glanced casually out the window before returning to her bedroom.
Red Queen floated behind her and carefully landed on Kurumi's shoulder.
"Click~"
Kurumi closed the bedroom door stretched lazily, and her eyes gleamed momentarily. She said, intentionally or unintentionally, "Being watched all day is uncomfortable.Red Queen, you enjoy teasing them, right?"
Red Queen immediately perked up and patted her slightly raised chest. "Don't worry, Master. Leave it to me."
Kurumi's half-closed eyes remained shut, and she slumped onto the bed. She found herself getting lazier.
But there was no help for it. With Red Queen around, she wanted to delegate everything to her.
"Red Queen?"
"I'm here, Master."
A buzzing sound came from the communicator. "Go ahead and capture Steve."
