Chereads / Kurumi Tokisaki's Planar Journey / Chapter 321 - Disaster Punishment

Chapter 321 - Disaster Punishment

""Huh?" The incredulous voice echoed in Tony's underground laboratory at home. "You're saying I've had a disaster recently?"

Tony stared with wide eyes, not in anger but in disbelief, a sense of absurdity washing over him.

On the other side of the holographic screen, Kurumi held her head. She knew Stark wouldn't believe her, and his attempt to play 'astrologer' seemed incredibly juvenile.

Tony continued tending with his 'Mark' armour, seemingly unfazed by Kurumi's mention of the "disaster." He teased Kurumi, adjusting wires with one hand, "You knew I had a disaster, yet you let me go out. You don't seem much like an astrologer."

"Do you think I'd be attacked in my own home? Trust me." Tony covered his chest with his hand, a mournful expression on his face. "There's nothing funnier than this today."

On the other side of the holographic screen, Kurumi, sitting on the couch, raised an eyebrow. Judging from her control over the traffic system as the Crimson Queen, Stark's seaside cliff mansion was not far away.

Thinking that Stark would soon be tormented, Kurumi felt satisfied. She stood up, pretending and said, "This is an astrologer's advice! The ignorant will be punished with calamity!"

After saying this, she disappeared into the holographic screen, and Stark adjusted the cameras. The entire living room in the villa turned dark, devoid of the girl's presence.

Unconcerned, Tony shook his head and raised an eyebrow. "Did I make her angry?"

"According to the integrated information on the internet, it seems so, sir."

"Hmm." Tony walked to the small refrigerator with a hint of a smile. "This girl is quite cute."

"Yes, sir. Everyone who's met her says the same."

Click. Tony had just opened a soda can, and the little troublemaker, pretending to be dead, suddenly perked up, spinning its wheels and rushing over to Tony.

Tony: "???"

Chirp!

"Cough, cough, cough!" Tony covered his nose with one hand and fanned away the foam mist in front of him with the other. "Damn it! I swear I'll give you to someone else, you little idiot!"

The little troublemaker seemed to know it had done something wrong. It now hung its "head" low, looking dejected.

Covered in foam, Tony looked comical when he glared. He roared, "Even if you pretend to be pitiful, it won't work!"

After hearing this, the little troublemaker hurriedly moved to the side, holding its "head," behaving quietly without making a sound.

At this moment, even JARVIS didn't say anything, and Tony didn't mind. Glancing at the time, he put the projection orb on the table in his pocket and mumbled something as he walked away.

After Tony cleaned the foam off himself and sat on the sofa, ready to ask JARVIS to order dinner...

Buzz, buzz, buzz.

A series of familiar sounds echoed in his ears, and Tony's body suddenly became unresponsive. He could understand this thing as soon as he thought about it.

The ultrasonic weapon Stark Industries developed before paralysed the target's nervous system through ultrasonic interference, essentially rendering the victim "paralysed." It was called "paralysis," but in reality, the victim's nervous system was already paralysed, and apart from being able to think and open their eyes, they were almost no different from a vegetable.

Later, it received international criticism for causing excessive harm to the human body. There was a chance that the nervous system would be permanently damaged, so its use was prohibited.

Prohibition meant giving up on development and research. Apart from a few prototypes manufactured in the past, there were no finished products on the market.

How many days had it been? He had been harmed three times by products manufactured by his own company!

Tony's heart was now ice-cold, especially since this was Obadiah Stane, someone Tony had always regarded as an elder.

Even when he went out to play, he could trust Stane to handle the mess.

Tony never expected Stane to do something like this!

Stane continued to recount the events. He admitted all his crimes but also listed Tony's "sins."

Tony was furious! What followed was a sense of helplessness, and when Stane pulled out the reactor from his chest and quickly left, that feeling reached its peak!

The ultrasonic weapon only paralysed the human nervous system for a short time, and in general, there shouldn't be any accidents.

But Tony was different. He had tiny shrapnel from his research in his chest!

Without the magnetic adhesion of the reactor, those little things would flow into his heart along with his blood!

It was easy to imagine that the highly sharp shrapnel would cut through his blood vessels and heart, resulting in death.

His face turned pale to the point of horror. Even a Halloween vampire wouldn't put on this much makeup.

Thump!

With a strong will, Tony moved his body, but he still managed to fall to the ground.

Snap!

His pale face gradually turned blue, and he was starting to lack oxygen. His self-contained circulatory system was beginning to malfunction. He would meet his dad anytime if a solution weren't found soon.

But Tony didn't want to meet his dad. At least not right now.

The silver sphere spun on the smooth floor, and from Tony's perspective, he could see the dust left by Stane.

Finally, the sphere hit the side table and happened to hit the "button" part.

Click~

The sphere automatically changed direction and connected to the device in Kurumi's living room.

At this moment, the holographic screen showed Kurumi's figure.

Wearing home clothes, she was still petite and appeared somewhat fragile in the eyes of Westerners. But now was not the time to worry about this.

As if something was blocking her throat, she couldn't speak even though she opened her mouth. Her vision began to blur, and she wouldn't last much longer.

On the other side of the holographic screen, Kurumi "coincidentally" saw him and her expression changed. She hurriedly asked, "Where is your home?"

Tony subconsciously opened his mouth, but he could only make hoarse sounds in his throat.

"JARVIS? JARVIS!"

The lively voice of the girl came from the holographic screen, but the gentlemanly artificial intelligence seemed unresponsive.

"JARVIS?!"

Buzz~

A surge of electric sound passed, and whether it was Kurumi's illusion or not, she felt that JARVIS, who had been calm all along, seemed to breathe a sigh of relief.

"I'm here, Miss. The address is in the xxx area."

Without waiting for JARVIS to finish, Kurumi, who already knew Tony's residence, began to sketch out an array, and then, to Tony's "astonishment," she appeared in front of him!

Kurumi couldn't use magic to teleport like this now, but the spacetime in the Marvel Universe was so weak!

With sufficient preparation, it was still quite convenient to move across relatively close regions.

"I told you, you have a disaster. You should go out more often, shouldn't you?"
