Chapter 303 - I Will Come Back

A very convenient small binding magic array, some of the terrorists looked fierce, utterly indifferent to life and death, crazily pulling the triggers.

The soldiers were suppressed, unable to raise their heads for a moment. They couldn't use grenades; the ground was full of bombs and gasoline. If those were triggered, it wouldn't be child's play.

Suddenly, the most passionate group of terrorists tightened their bodies, and short they fell to the ground with a "thud."

The helicopter commander urgently shouted through the headset, "You cowards! What are you waiting for? The enemy's firepower network has been broken! Squad one, breakthrough from the nine o'clock direction! Squad two, provide suppressive fire cover! Squad three, rush into the cave and rescue Stark!"

Although the soldiers feared sacrificing, they still had professional ethics. After the commander gave the order, everyone quickly responded. Their speed was so swift that they finally displayed the strength of a strong nation.

That portion of "fanatics" had fallen inexplicably, and the remaining ones panicked when they saw well-equipped soldiers charging towards them. Their actions were in disarray.

As for the commander? Did they have anything grand like that? Wasn't each one fighting on their own?

Even the higher-ups among the terrorists only knew how to hold a rifle and shoot "bang bang bang" from behind the crowd.

They joined the terrorist force just to make a living; they didn't resemble those fanatics who kept spouting "holy war" at every turn, which was headache-inducing.

Leveraging their vital military training, the soldiers swiftly turned the situation around and began suppressing the terrorists. However, even while shooting, they were cautious to avoid hitting things like oil drums.

The terrorists were dispersed widely, and the firepower from squad two was intense, equipped with snipers. They didn't aim to kill the enemy. They just aimed to suppress their firepower, allowing squad three to break into the cave successfully.

Actually, if the terrorists were to detonate the ammunition and fuel along the route, even special forces wouldn't dare to approach this place for a while.

But did they have the guts to do that? No, those were bought by the leaders at a high price. Typically, even touching them would result in a beating, let alone blowing them up with firearms!

However, just as squad three was about to enter the cave entrance, they were suddenly ambushed. Fortunately, the soldiers were wearing good-quality body armour. After a few tactical rolls, they managed to conceal themselves and waited for an opportunity, biding their time for a vulnerability to show.

As long as they waited for the terrorists to run out of ammunition, they could launch a surprise attack!

But was that possible? The commander made a mistake; he subconsciously believed that the terrorists inside the cave didn't have much ammunition...

So... three minutes passed... five minutes passed. The terrorists blocking the cave entrance stubbornly kept up their fire with their makeshift cover.

Deep inside the cave, the leader of the terrorists, whose forehead had been injured, had a grim expression as he considered whether he should abandon this stronghold.

"Boss," a man with a fierce appearance and a full beard cautiously asked, "should we abandon this place? The American soldiers' attack is too fierce. It won't be long..."

"Smack!"

The bald man gave the bearded man a slap that made stars dance before his eyes. "Are you out of your mind? Do you know how much I've paid to get those things? How can I easily give up this place? I've put half my life's savings into this!"

The bearded man, who had a fearsome appearance and was full of facial hair, looked submissive before the bald man. Although this "cat" was quite ugly.

He spoke with a rough voice, "Don't worry, boss. Our group of brothers will fight to the end! Even if the soldiers breach this place, we'll tear a piece of flesh off them!"

"Brothers, don't you think so?!"

The bearded man raised the firearm in his hand and shouted at the people behind him.

However, before he received any response, the bald man slapped the bearded man's head again!

"Damn it, you must be crazy!"

The bearded man turned around, seeing the boss's dark expression, and his heart thumped. He knew he had misspoken again.

He was not afraid of death; otherwise, he wouldn't have co-founded this "great cause" with the boss. But calling him a fanatic wasn't accurate either; he didn't have his own faith. He mostly just followed the boss for the good life, yelling at a few hundred subordinates all day. He felt pretty accomplished.

Therefore... as the soldiers were about to attack, the first thing he thought about wasn't whether he would die. It was how to perform well in front of the boss.

This thought process... other terrorists couldn't understand it.

The bald man's gaze was sinister, and his narrowed eyes exuded a chilling power. He might have caused the deaths of many people, and even those who supported him felt a slight chill in their hearts at this moment.

The bald man took a deep breath, forcibly calming himself down and began to analyse the pros and cons of the situation.

In the end, he concluded that running away was a definite must. Otherwise, those American soldiers would burst in, "bang bang bang" him, and when he faced "Allah," he'd have no face.

Sacrificing himself for some weapons and resources wasn't necessary at all. As long as he still had Stark in his hands and could contact Stane, he could pull together a team at any time and regain his power.

The bearded man was still in a daze at this point. He was waiting for the boss to give orders, ready to charge out and fight a bloody and passionate battle with those adorable little things, turning them into a frenzy of flesh and blood and shooting them into the enemy's bodies!

Hearing their wails would be one of the greatest pleasures for the bearded man.

The bald man stared at his subordinate, who was still thinking outside the cave and slapped him across the head with another ear-piercing slap. Seeing the bearded man regain his senses, he sternly said, "You go and bring that guy Stark here. As for the other things, forget about them. Go as fast as you can."

"Do you hear me?"

The sudden roar jolted the bearded man's left ear, and seeing the fierce expression on the bald man's face, he instantly trembled, shouting loudly, "Yes, boss!"

The bald man furrowed his brow. Ignoring the rest, it was just that the bearded man's tone irritated him.

"Wait!"

The bearded man came to an abrupt halt, and his boots, already covered in dust and no longer discernible in colour, came into intimate contact with the ground.

"Boss?"

"Bring Ethan along as well. We need a doctor."

"Okay, boss. Don't worry, boss, leave everything to me."

He saw the silhouette of the bearded man's team leaving in his retina. The bald man pondered thoughtfully as he touched his dusty bald head.

He had a somewhat ominous feeling. He had the feeling that entrusting that idiot would mess things up...

"Bang!"

"Boom ~~~"

A loud noise echoed, and dust filled the entrance of the cave. The bald man's gaze flickered. Amidst the haze, he could see a pile of bodies on the ground that hand grenades had blown up.

He took a few steps forward and saw the helicopter hovering in midair outside through the dust.

"Fuc*! Those damned Americans! I'll definitely be back!"
