Although the town was big it was unecessarily dark yet even that was comforting.
The darkness became a way of life long ago. The city was built in darkness, home to anyone who wanted to live.. well not live but survive at least. This multiverse was considered land of the angels although not one angel lived here.
Angels lived above, outside of our multiverse yet always observant.
Um.. untill they found something of interest. Yes sometimes they took the rich and careless other times they took the struggling, sometimes they pushed them over the edge.. neither usually ends well but those with talent usually ascends after being pushed over the edge into something even greater. We call those Goddesses and gods.
There were Maids, as well as butlers. They served the angels directly and served to make sure everything run peacefully, neither humans nor ascendants dared to act almighty in front of them.
It's never happened before, but I was assigned my own maid by the Angel, Void. Not sure at why this was but I was reading in hopes of find why or how angels would choose such a thing.
Sigh, I released a sigh.
Although I've spend hours in my manners library I know not the origin of the angels actions, all history simply tells how've they ruled over us for years since the creation of the multiverse.
I raised my self up from my chair and threw my arms behind my head, relaxing my head against my hands.
"Aiufaahl."
"Yes, Faahl?"
"I said call me UI, we're close right? No need to use my second name."
"Yes.. UI."
"What should I do today Aiufaahl? If theres nothing then-"
"There is.. My lady, would like you to try harder to awaken an ability."
That again, it's been 3 years already since I've come of age and I was immediately ordered by Void to awaken an ability. I'm not aware of any purpose at all but all I can assume is that I must absolutely awaken something as The Angel Void seems to believe it's absolutely necessary in the future.
But relentlessly trying for three years researching how to awaken abilities has led me nowhere and usually it's something only angels can awaken in them selves and humans!
"Aiufaahl, you've witnessed my actions since my creation, do I have any chances of awakening an ability?"
I looked at her face which remained as serene as ever.
"The chances are absolute, my lady her self said so."
"And what is your own opinion?"
"You've awakened.. you have yet to use it."
That's the first she spoke her own opinion, although shocked I was really excited what if what she said was true and I really awakened and just haven't found out a way to use it? It's certainly possible.
"Thanks Aiufaahl."
I first thanked Aiufaahl, she can tell when I get unmotivated and would easily motivate me. I was ready to give up for the second time in three years as it's really hard but if Aiufaahl believes in me then I won't fail.
Soon we reached my room where there was a large empty space, grand windows, and a large bed.
Blue flames lit the city allowing one to see better through the dark city at night, although the city was always Angels granted light to the city to for a day an night cycle.
I flopped on my bed and turned on my laptop, as usual I would type in a few sites and look through different abilities and how to activate them.
"Ui, is there any abilities you like?"
That's interesting actually, I never considered an ability I may like, I simply tried to awaken anyone I could via following research.
"It's not that there isn't any.. I just never asked which ones I liked."
"Well I believe if my lord finds something he likes he's sure to awaken it."
That's some confidence there.
Aiufaahl is usually confident though. I feel good about this so I'll try it though.
"Very well, Aiufaahl."
With that I scroll around and look through different list, reading different discriptions I looked through many abilities constantly with hopes peaked.
"I really like the abilities that absolutely butchers physics, limits, possibilities and all but I can't exactly find one that does all that in one."
"Physics?"
"Yea. Well it's a well known limit."
"I see.. then why not make one. You've scrolled through these abilities for years you have a pretty good Idea of what you like right?"
Indeed. I want to say she knows as well because she watched me closely for all these years but it was true I know very well and more better than any.
With that I went over to a note page and began typing, although I wondered what the point in all of it was I continued typing until I finished.
This really is broken, I typed quite a bit too. Sometimes I would go back to other abilities then come back to my own while typing in everything I wanted further improving my ability. With this ability there was nigh invincible even if I, a beginner used it. I could do anything I wanted, what would I use it for?
No idea.
Haha.
Laughing at the pointlessness I went and asked Aiufaahl to take a look, she leaned over while reading each line with absurd speeds.
"Have you named this ability?"
"I want you to name it."
"My lord?"
"Ui!"
"Sorry Ui.."
I believe she has a good naming sense, better than mine so I believe she will come up with something.
"Aiufaahl."
Hm? She said her own name. Does she mean to name it like that? I'd love to use a ability with my maids name honestly, Maids are the most powerful second only to angels so this is a huge honor.
"Are you making it with your name?"
"Yes."
I really like it.
I looked over the ability again and let her type the name in and finally we finished it.
"I like this ability."
I put everything into it. I looked at this ability proudly but not long after I said these words I felt just as my ability described, I recognized it instantly, as I've described my ability thoroughly. With a curious smile I looked at my maid whom smiled as well.
"Did you plan this?"
"Yes."
"It feels really good.. thank you."
I had questions but I had answers as well but I would check them later, it was wiser to familiarize my self with my abilities. I would first test something really interesting..
In the next moment before anyone could actually perceive it, it was something only angels, maids or me could probably perceive if they were present. Oh maybe a unique goddess or god as well.
I exploded and flesh, and bones blasted everywhere while coming to an abrupt stop with sound effects when approaching something fragile and falling to the floor. None of my remains touched Aiufaahl. With my ability I could control this much. My body came back together as it was before just in front of my laptop in a seated position.
"It's really that!"
It's amazing, I said so while preparing my self to test everything.
My maid an me were utterly excited.
