When the universe still hasn't been created, there was only a dark mass of nothingness. No atoms, no particles, simply nothing. However, in this space seven beings that will later be known as Gods existed. Not even them knew how, when or why they had been created. They had a mind of their own, but not a physical body, so their existence was limited to their consciousness. They would often talk amongst themselves, without knowing what else to do. And they had already tried finding anything different within that realm of nothingness before they gave up on the idea.
But then, everything changed.
Maybe it was a year, maybe it was a century, or maybe it was just an hour. Nobody, not even the gods, know how much time has passed between the creation of their consciousness and that moment, because such thing as time couldn't be measured in that empty space. As the gods passed on the story, humans changed it a bit but all the versions started like this:
'Suddenly, the seven of us felt a strong energy flowing in what it had been nothingness before its appareance and now what was before dark became shiny and colourful. The strange energy divided into seven beams of different colors each one: red, blue, yellow, green, white, purple and brown, and they fused with our consciousness, granting us incredible power. Then, the energy inside of our mind expanded, granting us a physical appearence, but it didn't disappear, leaving a powerful aura surrounding our bodies. While we were still processing what just happened, the energy dissapeared and everything became dark again, except our new shining bodies, now overflowing with power.'
What happened next, that's where different versions were created, but most used one is like this:
'We decided to test our newfound powers to create something. Each one of us could creaye something different: one could create shiny particles, he named it Light, one could create very hot particles, he named it Fire, one could create a brown and firm mass, he called it Earth, one could create a refreshing and vital liquid, she called it Water, one could create unstable and fast particles, he called it Thunder, one could create forms of life in the earth or water, she called it Nature, and the last one could create a vital substance for life that couldn't be seen, she named it Air. And so, now they were called: the God of Fire, the Goddess of Air, The Goddess of Water, The God of Earth, The God of Light, the Goddess of Nature and The God of Thunder. With their powers, they created a new world. It was made of water and earth, and in the surface, the Goddess of Nature made different animals and plants to live in the new planet. The air covered it like a blanket forming the sky, the God of Light and The God of Fire made an enormous star to illuminate it and the God of Thunder and the Goddess of Water would bless it with storms when needed.'
Having created this new world, the gods enjoyed walking and receiving praises of the animals that lived there. They were satisfied with the new planet but they felt that something was missing. The animals couldn't talk nor had the brain to reason, they could understand that they had to praise and follow the gods, but their thinking wasn't too sofisticated, they saw it as a matter of survival.
So, the gods created the humans, a species with intelligence and reasoning, that could follow the gods, pray to them and make sacrifices for them. Definitely more devoted followers than the animals, thought the gods. The humans created different cults, each one would follow a different god and would have different traditions. Time passed and the creatures in the planet lived in peace. But it was just the calm before the storm.
One day, the gods suddenly disappeared leaving no traces behind. No one knew why, but they never answered prayers again and the humans panicked. Not only that, but hostile creatures called monsters appeared, these were of all sizes and colors, they couldn't think, they just attacked everything that crossed their path, and they had incredible strength and agility, making them difficcult to deal with.
Time passed and many thought that humanity had no probability to survive.
However, one day a human called Reros found a cave inside an enormous and dangerous forest. Inside the cave there was an orb and a message carved on a stone, "With this gift, humanity shall rise again". Understanding that it was a gift from the gods, Reros touched the orb.
That day, every living creature saw a ray of light emerge and this was later called the Ray of Hope. This gift blessed 40 percent of the total humans with the power of the gods that they worshipped. These blessed humans were known as Elemental Carriers, they fought monsters, built empires and protected humanity.
And so, humans continued to live in peace in a new era. No more war, or so they thought.
2500 years later, in the Grand Empire, a child that would shook the whole world was born. But, is it going to be for the worse, or for the better?

Hi, I'm not sure if anyone is reading this but if you really are interestered in the novel please let me know so I post characters more often. Also, I am sorry if the grammar is bad, but I speak Spanish and you know that the translator isn't very accurate. I am doing this as a hobby, but if you guys like it I will get serious and I won't stop posting it. I already have the entire story in mind, I just need to find the correct words to describe it and a bit of moral help.
