If to take into consideration the fact that Jared and Jace are twins, my shield can easily transform into some new ability, that protect Jace and his twin Jared as well. It can work the same way my mental shield is working, however… I don't know the whole specter of power my mental shield has, considering the recent opened ability to gather it in my hands and make a push to throw opponents away. If that's not the entire specter of what it can do, then Jace's ability might be something that easily grew from mine.
