The room was all covered with dead bodies, and the smell of blood and death was tickling the nose, turning the world upside down. I was hugging Luke and ready to use my unknown source of power once the threat will be near, but there was no one left who dared to come at us. I moved my head at Markus, who came closer to Ramon Herrera lying on the floor. His body was bleeding as a wooden stick broke through his chest, and it was just a matter of time before he'll pass away from bleeding. Markus squatted down near him, pressed his gun to the heart area, and moved closer to Ramon.
"I can help you die sooner," he said with his cold, low voice. Ramon murmured something, but it was too hard to understand what he was murmuring. He probably figured that out as he slowly took his hand up and pointed at the broken dinner table, then his hand just fell.
"Is he dead?" I asked, and jumped from the sofa. Luke stood up as well, but hasn't moved even for an inch.
