In the evening Ash was sitting in his apartment in front of a computer looking for trends of this new world on the internet. after going through the internet Ash confirmed his hypothesis about this world. This world was the same as his previous world until the 1950s but after that changes started to appear like movies, songs, various companies, etc. companies that were established before the 1950s still exist like Disney, coca-cola, etc. but there are still many changes in them too.
Just when Ash was going through the internet he heard a knock on his door. He went and opened the door and saw a woman in her late 40s and a little girl around 7-8 years old standing in front of him. That woman was Martha Mclanny and the little girl was her daughter Mystiq Mclanny. Martha was an old friend of his mother.
"Hello, aunt Martha. please come in." Ash said while showing the gesture to come inside.
"Thanks for inviting me in but sorry. I have a favor to ask you. Can you please take care of misty(short name for Mystiq) for a while I have a night shift today I will come back around midnight."
"No problem Come in Misty"
"Thanks, Ash you are such a good child" After saying that Martha was gone. Ash and Misty entered the apartment.
"Misty do you want to eat something'' asked Ash.
"No I have already eaten the dinner," replied Misty while quietly sitting on the sofa.
Ash went inside his room and came with a card box in his hands. He placed the cardboard on the ground and said to Misty "Misty I have some toys here in this box you can play with them if want to.''
Seeing the cardboard Misty's eyes lit up and started to play with the toys in the box. Seeing Misty play Ash went back to his chair and started surfing the internet again. After taking out all toys Misty started to play some role-playing games with the toys.
When Ash saw her playing a different kinds of roles like mother, father, daughter, etc. Ash thought she was talented in it so said to her "You are good at it".
"I always play it when Mom goes out".
After that Ash and Misty chatted for a while. Misty was a well-behaved quiet but cute girl.
Sometime later Misty fell asleep and Ash also went to bed.
Around midnight Martha came back and took Misty back to her home.
The next day after Ash woke up he received a call from Samual. he picked it up.
-Hello, Ash are you awake
"Yes I just woke up"
-Good, the board of directors of Starline decided to hold a meeting for you in two days so I want you to come to my firm and prepare for it.
"Yes, I will come now."
-And also I want you to meet someone so come here fast.
"Okay I will be there in an hour"
Ash gets ready and goes to Samual's office.
"Ash, come inside I want you to meet someone." Samual invited Ash inside his office. when Ash went inside he saw a beautiful woman in her late 20s already sitting in his office. That woman was wearing a black business suit. She had short black hair and she looked very elegant.
"Ash this is miss Serena Kayli she is a graduate of California University top of her batch. She is an expert in business management." Samual said to Ash and after that, he looked toward miss Serena and spoke: "Serena this is Ash Wilson, my nephew and he is the owner of Starline films."
Ash walked toward miss Serena
"Nice to meet you miss Kayli" Ash extended his toward miss Serena.
"Nice to meet you too Mr. Wilson" they both shook hands.
After that, they sat on sofas across each other. Samual sat beside Ash.
"Ash today I wanted you to meet Serena. She is very good at business management. You own a company now so you will need talented people to work for you. So I want you to consider miss Serena for the CEO position." Samual said to Ash.
Ash looked very calm about the situation right now he looked like he was in deep thought and he looked very mature for his age.
Seeing Ash not saying anything Samual became a little hesitant and said "Ash I know it is a little hard for you to trust anyone after betrayal so I won't force you and if you say I will not interfere with your company."
Hearing that Ash became dumbfounded. ever since he came to this world he thought of Samual as an acquaintance nothing but at this moment he started to see this old man in a new light. He thought that it will good to have a family member like him.
"No uncle Sam I wasn't thinking about that. I was just thinking about some question for miss Kayli here."
"Oh! so that's the case huh," said Samual.
"You can ask me anything you want to know," said Serena.
"Thank you miss Kayli" Ash looked seriously "Miss Kayli my uncle Sam has a very good opinion of you so I won't go for your education, experience, qualification, and all that stuff I just want to know how much you know about my company and what are your plans for it?"
