And as time went by, Olivia was seen sitting behind a desk recording accounts. Her looks though young were made to look mature and serious with body-fitted suits and the right expression on her face. Ledgers sat open on her table and in her right hand danced the pen. At some point, she squeezed her face to show her confusion and weariness.
A man passed by her and she did not for her full concentration on her work, see him when he walked and even when he stood at a door, her mind so deep in what she was doing did not permit her to look up at him. He stood for a while looking at her with fascination in his eyes. His curly hair fell to his face covering his neatly shaved brow. And he saw her unconsciously remove a strand of hair that fell to her side. Rounding up with a ledger, she moved to another. Taking her seriousness to a whole new level.
' Olivia ' He called her when he got tired of her serious demeanor.
Olivia was shocked and flinched when she heard not only his voice but also saw him looking at her intently.
' Sir '. She answered, breaking her eyes off her work.
' Take a break '. He said.
' Sir? '. She questioned, surprised at the softness of the tone with which he had spoken.
' Take an hour break '. He instructed and entered the office.
Olivia got her eyes widening at what had happened. Her boss was telling her to take a break when it was past the break time. She had missed the break time because of the nature of her work, but he was considerate, perhaps after noticing that she had not left her place since she sat down.
She stood up and left the office.

' The man was daddy, right? '. Diva interrupted.
Listening to his story and to the point where the man asked the lady to go on a break, she knew it was her father. When her mother was alive, her dad was always concerned about her. Never wanting to hurt her. Not wanting the see her struggle to get things. He had doubled, tripled, and replaced her maids multiple times when he noticed she was not attended to on time or when there was a complaint about any of them. He was always concerned about her welfare. Sometimes he prioritized her mother before the kingdom, leaving the kingdom's matters on the table and rushing to his wife.
' Yes, he was. He was always there for my sister, your mother. I never for once heard about him abusing her from your mother or saw him ill-treating her. He was a caring husband. A good in-law. He saw your grandmother as a mother and treated her as one. He was of all men most miserable and shaking when he saw that day your mother's body '. He paused for a while to take deep breaths and calm himself.
' Your father after the death of your mother changed. He is still mourning, Diva. The decision to come to this country was not for you only, Diva. He believes that if he could leave his kingdom and blend again with the mundane life, he would be able to clear his mind and focus on the duties of the Crown. Diva, as much as you cannot control your emotions right now or have dropped your mourning cloth, in the same vain he needs you. He needs you sometimes to pull him out of his sad moments. Never have I seen your father cry, Diva. Not until the day of your mother's death and once in a while, I wi see those tears roll down his cheeks. It's not easy for your grandma too. It's not easy for me '.
