Cedrick looked expressionless as he read the notification. He was long aware how great a dragon is. Other races want to serve a dragon to gain it's protection and power but no dragon has ever done that. No dragon would lower his pride to keep lesser beings than them as subordinates. All dragons prefer to stay at their lairs.
He was aware what Edward's reason for serving a dragon. Barbarians believe in strength and power more than anything else. They were proud that their strength is superior compared to the other races. It was their strength that made them known in the entire Lugarix.
Even so, they desire the honor of serving an absolute existence just like the angels and valkiries who serve their respective Gods. They were believers in the War God but they did not serve him.
The War God Castro is their Progenitor but he chooses the Valkiries over the Barbarians. It hurted their pride and now they have the chance to serve an even greater being than the War God. Edward would not let this chance slip to bring glory to his race. Especially if they are serving the Arcane Dragon.
It is a dragon that was never heard before but the world message itself said it was the Ultimate Dragon. He has witnessed his evolution and didn't forget about the etherion that wrapped around Cedrick.
Even he doesn't knew what it is, he could guess it as more powerful than any element known.
He had believed before that an element that is a combination of all elements is not something should exist. But he could still feel the sensation from it.
Edward was very anxious that they will not be accepted.
"I understand. So you want me to take you guys as my subordinate?"
"Yes it will be our honor."
"Let me ask you something first."
Cedrick pondered what random question he would ask as he doesn't really have any interest in becoming their Monarch. He ask Edward a question that doesn't so far at the current topic.
"What is it you may ask Cedrick-sama?"
"How big is your territory?"
"Forgive me for not living up to your expectation but the territory of the Barbarians is only the Kunlon City."
"For us who live for war we only need a base and buys anything else. All of us are warriors but our capabilities aside from fighting is limited."
Cedrick nodded and became curious about something. He then asked Edward.
"Do you intend to stay as a city or grow as a kingdom?"
Edward eyes widened as he had not thought about so far. Before barbarians make a living as an Mercenery for wars but now it is different. They don't have to hold back anything as they will now serve an absolute.
"If you want to expand Cedrick-sama we will not object. We will follow any order you will give to us."
"Then what about the name of the Kingdom?"
"Any name you will give would suffice Cedrick-sama."
Cedrick then thought for a name. Suddenly he remembered the party name. He grinned and looked at Edward who is still kneeling.
"Then what about I should name it Zesteria Kingdom? Does it sound cringey?"
"It doesn't sound bad Cedrick-sama."
Edward said in genuinely as he was very satisfied with name of the future kingdom.
Cedrick didn't consider rejecting the offer. Also not a trace of emotion can be felt. Although he was surprised but did not think so much about it. All he want is the quest rewards
"I accept your offer. I don't see any demerit having you guys as my subordinates."
Hearing Cedrick's response Edwards smiled happily. He can now bring an honor to his race even greater than his ancestors.

Cedrick looked expressionless at the system notifications. He just nodded with satisfaction and allocated the AP he got as a reward. Cedrick then think of what he is going to do next as his goal remains the same.
While Cedrick was thinking on his next move a world message once again shook the entire world.

All beings in the world were shock again as they could see the rise of the Arcane Dragon. Even Dragons, Gods, Demons could no longer ignore it.
It was the beginning of a new era.

Cedrick is currently resting in a bedroom. Even there were series of events that happened, it didn't stop him of what he is initially going to do.
Resting.
Even he is physically fine, he still got mental fatigue due to continuous smithing. Suddenly he suddenly feel something soft touched him. That's right currently Claire is hugging him right now. A cute elf is using him as a hug pillow. Her beautiful face had a blissful expression.
"She smell good, is it because she's an elf? Or is it just my nose is sensitive."
Cedrick muttered softly but Claire heard it clearly. Her heart fluttered with happiness hearing his statement. Her acting earlier was worth it.
When they requested a room to rest. Edward ordered his attendants so prepare two rooms but Claire objected and said to Cedrick in a low voice that only he could hear.
"Can I share a room with you? I'm scared being alone here."
Cedrick didn't comply to her request as it was ridiculous. Seing his rejection she firmly beg him and even made many excuses. Annoyed by her constant pleading Cedrick gave up let her do as she please.
While Claire is making use of her chance in hugging him while sleeping. Cedrick look at the changes in his status window.

Cedrick nodded at his high stats. His stats was very high compared to the same level. He isn't so surprised to see the changes. More likely Cedrick expected this to happen. He had created 177 Epic Weapons and got the stats as a rewards from the quests.
Cedrick looked expressionless at the description of the title Dragon Monarch. He wasn't moved a little.
"So useless."
"A shield will appear if I lose 30% of my health but that won't happen. I have my Innate Skill Immortality so I can't imagine that kind of scenario."
"Status resistance is also useless to me. I have my trait Cold Blooded and it's effect is way better."
"But the reflection and bonus Free AP is quite useful. I am still at low level compared to others but I'm confident I can defeat most of them and if my level rise the more my stats grew."
Cedrick remembered the stats of the Barbarians who is at level 400. Before Cedrick came at Kunlon, Barbarians were already stronger than the others. Cedrick thought that most powerhouses were within at level 300.
After a couple of seconds Cedrick's eyes became heavier and fell asleep. The next morning, getting himself a good rest Cedrick was awoken by Claire with a charming smile. Her smile is one filled with happiness and contentment.
"Good morning Cedrick-kun. Did you have a good dream?"
Her face was illuminared by the sunlight that makes her smiling face even more beautiful and to Cedrick whose head is still cloudy for waking up was enchanted by her. He was amazed by her beauty but that did not last long.

After being forcibly calmed down, Cedrick said in a nonchalant tone. Hearing it Eliza didn't reply instead she gigled cutely and buried herself to his chest. Seing her reaction he patted her head which makes Claire even more delighted.
"Let's get up. I have lot thing of things to do later."
With saying that both of them prepared themselves. Cedrick then glanced at his clothes that he was wearing. Wearing it always makes him feel uncomfortable and then think of a something.

Cedrick made the etherion wrapped around him and he imagine something. Suddenly a new set of clothes was worn. A hoody with a waifu (Zero Two, Kotigawa Marin, Ichinose Chizuru) design, black pants and snickers. A cool casual outfit in earth but for here, it is an out of this world style where armor is common.
Seing this Cedrick smiled. He made use of etherion to create something. Specifically creation element magic. He then walked out of the door to meet his subordinates.
Claire on the other looked mesmerized by Cedrick when he wore those outfits. Hearts signs appear on her eyes as she craved on how cool he is earlier.
Wearing in a hoodie, black jeans, and snickers. He appears to be a healthy young man with dark blue hair. His eyes were light blue, and his face had some light blue marks.
Seing him she couldn't help but blush on thankful for the feast in her eyes.
Suddenly a thought flash through Cedrick's mind. He then opened his status and look for a specific skill.
