Clara and Christabel had no chance but to ignore the entire nincompoop coming from Asher. They kept on consoling the already teary Mabel who was now sober.
The ambulance got to the hospital and so did they. They drove into the hospital parking lot and immediately alighted. They rushed to Ria who was laying on the stretcher ready to be wheeled into the hospital.
The other ladies held Mabel who was just staring at them.
After Ria was pushed in, they walked into the waiting room and Mabel was too nervous as she kept on shifting on the seat they made her sit on.
A nurse came out of the room they wheeled Ria in and she attempted to stand up but was pulled down by Clara. Christabel rushed to the nurse
"How was he?" she demanded.
"He will be fine; I am on the way to call the attention of the doctor. Just give me some seconds," the nurse said and rushed away before Christabel could ask any more questions.
