"Then watch me doing so," Clara yelled at her.
She dialed the police number and turned her back to Christabel. The call was about to be taken by the police headquarters when Christabel snatched the phone from her.
She switched it off and ran off.
"Give that phone to me!" Clara yelled at her.
"I am not going to do so… Allen is involved. Don't you think about Lucian… we just need to show them evidence and they will come around. This is not what a police officer would do…just give up and let us save Mabel ourselves," Christabel said from afar.
"Shit!" Clara cursed. She knew that she was right. Then an idea struck her. 'This is the time I am supposed to be near Lucian. Since he and Mabel were now siblings. He had no choice but to fall for me,'
