"I don't even know what he meant. But to me, he didn't offend me. Or did your mother say he offended you?" Mabel asked but Ria only shook his head.
"Mother worshiped him because of his steadfastness in taking care of me as his own son and her as if she was his wife," Ria said as he remembered that his mother had always remembered her boss forever.
"This is really complicated… I think you will have continued reading," she said and Ria nodded.
Ria steadied the letter in his hand as he frowned after reading the next sentence inwardly.
"Is there something wrong?" Mabel asked.
Ria took a deep breath after reading more sentences. He was really shocked. He looked into Mabel's eyes.
"I don't have to read this, dear. It is shocking," he said.
"Common read. I am anxious to know or give it to me. I am steady enough to read it," she said as she stretched forth her hand.
"I will read it," he said and looked back to read the letter.
