Asher stared at the beauty in front of her. The breeze of the air swept her hair as if they were dancing into the rhythm of a song. Her face froze and he wanted to drag her to him and give her a deep kiss until her lips melted away.
He had asked her a question but she did as if she never heard and this only gave him some sense of disruption. He wanted her to answer every question he asked her. To him, knowing her will be more than knowing life itself.
"Miss, why do you?" his throat thrust as he asked the question again and felt so thirsty.
"Is that a thank you for saving your ass?" she said coolly.
"Oh, my dear…thank you," he blinked, which led her to think that he was winking at her.
"That will not do…I am tired…can we sit over there…" She halted as she saw Leah and her cousin with the other patients staring at them at the hideout. She smiled. She was ready to play the game she had played for a long time.
