A young woman in her twenties sat down on a couch in a big mansion. Her belly protruded out and it was obvious she was carrying a baby not less than seven months.
The young woman picked up her phone and dialed a number.
"Hello, honey."
"Hello, baby... are you ok?"
"Yes, honey. I'm ok... are you busy?"
"Yes, baby but if you need me I will come home right now."
"Oh! don't worry... if I need anything, Hannah is here to help me. Focus on your work and don't come home, late honey. Take care and bye." she said and hung up the call.
A young girl who had been standing at her side looked confused " madam, why don't you tell him you are in pain?"
The pregnant woman smiled and looked up at the girl
"Hmmm, Hannah. He is busy at work and I don't want to bother him. Call the driver and let's go to the hospital."
"Ok, ma," Hannah answered and quickly rushed out to call the driver.
Minutes later, a young short man rushed in
"Madam, are you ok?"
"Yes Kal, I'm fine... I think it's time already. Please take me to the hospital."

Kal walked closer to the pregnant woman and helped her from the house to the car and they drove to the hospital.
Hours later, Kim entered his house feeling happy and relaxed
"Baby! Honey! I'm home!" He shouted but got no reply
"Wife, your husband is home!" He shouted again but still got no reply.
"Where is my wife? Hannah!" He called his maid but there was still no reply. He rushed in and searched for his wife but the house was empty.
He picked up his phone and dialed his wife's number but the line wasn't reachable and he panicked.
"What happened to my wife? Why is the house empty? Where are they????" He kept lamenting and he was getting really frustrated.
"I should call the maid."
He picked up his phone again to call the maid when the door suddenly opened and Hannah rushed in
"Master! Master!"
"What's It? Where is my wife??"
"Madam is in the hospital. She's been laboring for hours now but the baby is not coming." the maid explained with tears streaming down her pale face. She looked frustrated and tired.
"My wife is in the hospital?? But... She told me she was fine this morning?"
"She said she did not want to disturb you and asked Kal and me to take her to the hospital."
"Let's go immediately!" Kim dropped his suitcase and rushed out of the house followed by the maid.

Mr. Kim, I don't know what's happening but your wife is too stressed and tired. She can't give birth on her own anymore. We need to operate on her immediately," the doctor explained to Kim.
"Doctor, if that will help my wife, quickly do it, please. I don't want to lose my wife. You know she means the world to me and I can't live without her."

"Thank you, doctor. Please help us. Save my wife, please."

The doctor picked up his office phone and called the head nurse

Kim smiled as he stared at the retreating back of his childhood friend who is now his family doctor. They were best buddies and always seen together as their parents were also family best friends so that made their friendship stronger.
