It was 4th January , Felix didn't go out of his room since what happened to his mother . Felix got trauma cause his mother was his closest best friend . Despite Captain James tried everything since he was worried about him . Felix was not eating anything and was extremely depressed , every friend of Felix tried everything already but he was not opening the door at all . So his dad had an idea to bring Kia over . He asked Kia for a favour and Kia came to their house .
Without hesitation Kia entered the house and kicked his door and said ,
" Felix you better open that door before I break it and drag you out of the room ."
Felix said , " Okay but only you have to enter or else I will close the door again ." Everyone was left in confusion about how Felix agreed to open the door . Kia entered the room and saw Felix wrapped up in the blanket .
Kia said , " What are the hell you doing ? Sitting like this won't help you . I know its hard for you but not eating will only worse your situation ."
" I know but I don't have the feeling to eat anything and I don't know what to do anymore . Dad is acting weird since what happened to mum .." Sighing Felix said that .
"You don't have to do anything . And your dad must be lonely and it must be hard for him too I think maybe that's why he is acting weird ."
" Maybe your right , but you know Kia today's my mum's birthday . It so weird without her I miss her so much ."
Captain James went to work . Nobody was at home besides Kia and Felix , the tension was real and silence was too loud. Then Felix suggested to look through her mothers work to find something . They found various documents related to DRAGONFLY or Bromo - DragonFLY and about the mafia SCOUNDRELS UNITED .
It had everything what Valerie told Felix and Kia about. Felix and Kia decided to hide them in Kia's house cause that's the safest place so far and since Valerie also wanted to help Kia and Felix help find Detective Ruby . Apart from the files and documents she also had a laptop but it was locked. Felix tried to open it but it didn't work.
Kia said , " When is your mum's , yours and dad's birthday maybe It'll open from it ."
Felix typed there passwords but it didn't work.
Kia then took out of her phone and opened an app and started typing some stuff.
Felix said , " I'm telling you it won't work. I have tried everything from the past days. My mum is smart and we can't even ask for dad's help or he'll scold me."
Kia didn't said anything and after some times she opened the laptop .
" Wait how did you do that ?"
Kia replied , " Well I know how to open laptops and stuff ."
" Are you a hacker ? Wow I wouldn't be surprised cause of how smart you are."
" Nah not a hacker but I know how to do some simple things like this ."
Both of them then started to see something that would help them find about there mother . But both was disappointed since there was nothing there.
Kia said , " It is weird , there is nothing on this laptop how Is that even possible wait let me check when was the last the laptop was used ."
Felix nodded as in agreeing to Kia's statement
As they were about to see , the laptop suddenly shut down and it was not able to turn on. Kia and Felix were both in surprise to what happened but Kia suddenly got up unplug the laptop and switch off the wi-fi . She turned both of their phones off too.
Felix asked , " What are you doing ?"
" It looks like the laptop was hacked and someone was watching us . I saw a tor browser maybe it has something to do with it but what confirmed it is that someone touched the laptop physically erased all the files and keep an eye on this laptop through webcam ."
" Wait what !?? You mean tor by which dark web can be accessed and what about erasing files ."
" Yea tor by which dark web can be accessed , And about erasing files someone didn't wanted to see us the laptop . Someone is behind that accident."
Both of them then decided to visit Detective Charles in the hospital to find about his health . Cause he was the only thing that could answer a million questions . But for some the answers can be a bitter truth that they would do anything to chain the truth of lies .
IN THE HOSPITAL
Next day on 5th January , Kia and Felix reached the hospital where Detective Charles were kept. The health of Detective Charles was improving , But as his health was improving the danger was coming near him as he recovered. The injuries were serious but he was doing better than expected which made him expose to danger if someone was behind their accident.
Kia and Felix went into the room of the hospital , there were two police men guarding the room. Both of them went in and saw him breathing through the ventilator. A silence went across the room as both stared each other and then Detective Charles.
As Kia and Felix were staring him in silence they observed something , there were bruises marks on his face and body and they were even stitches marks that seemed new.
Kia said , " Wait why are there so many bruises on his body and see his face why does he look he was beaten so badly ."
Felix in positive said , " You're right , but from what I know Detective lives alone and he is a good person and gets along with everyone ."
" Bruises , stitches , injury on the back of head , swollen eyes , being badly beaten It doesn't look like coincidence to me ." Kia said in confusion.
Felix agreed but as they were about to say something . They heard someone coming although they could have just stood there but both of them decided to hide inside the storage kind of room which was inside the room.
Then it became all dark in the room all of sudden someone closed the curtains and the blinds and switched off lights.
Felix said , " Why are we hiding though ?"
" I don't know just shut up I have a bad feeling about this ." Kia said
" Bad Feeling about what ?"
" I don't know I just have a tickling in my stomach whenever it happens something happens ."
" Stop overthinking its probably nothing ….."
As Felix was about to continue someone came into the room , He was wearing a black coat with a black cap. The person seemed suspicious , as Kia and Felix were watching them with a cap between the storage door , the person started speaking
" If you would have not done anything nothing would have happened didn't I told you not to do anything but just stay quiet all this happened because you decided to be a 'hero'. Its all your fault Detective Ruby died ."
As the person was about to continued Felix out of anger made a sound which the person heard . Kia rushed out of the storage room and saw the person escape from the window with the help of a rope.
Kia ran through the stairs while Felix went through the elevator. As Kia went downstairs she reached the parking lot she saw him going on the bike.
He passed through Kia and Kia saw a horrible thing. Thing she was afraid and scared of even the stories of horrible serial killers doesn't scare her but the thing she saw had a horrible memory with her.
She saw the person smirk , the same smirk which The Accomplice of Typhoon gave her. Terrified Kia as she recognized him she fell back as Felix caught her.
" Kia are you okay ? Hey what happened ? Why are you crying do you know that bastard ?
Without hesitation Felix hugged Kia . But Kia was petrified.
Kia said , " You won't tell anyone not a single soul. Not because I know him but it can put both of us in danger also ."
Felix agreed and Kia said , " He is the accomplice I saw with Typhoon he has the same exact smirk I remember it correctly ."
" If he is really what are you saying then we should not tell anyone or we would be in great danger. And if he is here that means he is the one would killed my mum and caused the accident."
" I'm not sure but I don't think he did that , Of course he is prime suspect and Typhoon which we are after but most likely The mafia also has something to do with it ."
" The mafia ?"
" Yea its not that its becoming more complicated but Detective Ruby was after Typhoon which made him the suspect but the mafia is extremely suspicious and about that drugs too."
Kia and Felix went home while decided that thats a new piece of puzzle they found today. Kia decided to go through the bottom of it even if it means sacrificing her life , cause this is the first time she had a friend and wanted to do everything she can.
While the moonlight was falling inside room making the room light up a little bit and the moonlight was the source of light in the darkness same was for Kia and Felix . Kia is the moon Felix needs who makes him light up in every sad mood and is the source of hope for him.
The friendship of Kia and Felix was so strong even the fire of the monster like Typhoon or the storm of Danger which was coming towards them couldn't come between there friendship and love.
Even the fire of Inferno comes
Even the strong winds blew
Even the death of one came
Even the Danger comes
They will be together forever
Like the moon and stars
The moonlight and Darkness
Like the dandelions in the field
They will be always for each other
Even if it means dying for one another.
