Tyrell looked at Sienna and smiled. She sat next to him asking about Sharchan. He was flattered by her attention and having her so close to him, it does make him feel intoxicated. Tyrell was never close to females; most were scared of him or avoided him. Sienna was the first woman, who looked at him with admiration. She was so beautiful and soft. Her voice sounded to him like a lullaby, it made him feel so calm. When she smiled at him, he could not avert his eyes. He felt hypnotized by her blue eyes. He felt her strength of the tiger in it, and it made him feel so close to her like she is part of him, his world, his family, his mate. He was so excited to spend his life with her. He felt like he knows her ages and it was just one day. Tyrell was hopelessly in love.
"Tyrell, please tell me?" Sienna disrupted his daze. Tyrell blinked his eyes and smile at her."Sharchan saved my life many times, we know each other from the time we were kids. I was attacked by a wild snake as a boy and Sharchan help me to kill it."
"Is there when you become brothers?"Sienna asked.
"No, we became friends and brothers we became as teenagers." Tyrell smiled.
The memory flashed in front of Tyrell's eyes:
The huge scaly beasts called Belua were roaming in the green wide valley.
(The beast looked like this as they are not available on the Earth. It was big like a mammoth, so taller than an elephant, it was covered in scaly armour-like pangolin. Its bodybuild looked like that of a rhino, but they had long strong tails and were more aggressive and agile. Also, they had longer noses and mouths with sharp teeth reminding that of an alligator. The herds of these creatures liked to roam close to the big cities. The people will always give them food to eat, so they move along. Mostly they gave them fish and kept leftovers for them as these beasts eat almost anything they trampled on. The guards on watchtowers will warn everyone to hide when they were coming as if they trapped people between the heard, they trampled them to mash and eat afterwards. Sometimes they got too wild and attacked the cities, especially in spring, when they were mad with mating urges.)
Two muscular teenage boys stood side by side fighting the wild beast.
"If we survive this I like to be your blood brother", said Tyrell.
" Yes, let's do it," said Sharchan, " we are already covered in blood. Hahaha,"
Sharchan was so wild. He was on a rampage for blood to calm his teenage moods. He was so fierce, rude and unbearable, that his father send him out and told him to come back as an adult. The boys were fighting with swords in their human form, as the spirit animal side will come out at the age of 30. However, their agility, strength and fearlessness were extraordinary. They became the most dangerous duo around; even the adult warriors started to be wary of these wild and cruel teenage boys and kept out of their way. After they killed all the beasts, Sharchan and Tyrell made a cut on their hands and joined the bleeding hands together.
"Be my brother from now on," said Tyrell. "Till death."Sharchan smiled. Nobody will be able to stop them now.
Tyrell was still part of his tribe and Sharchan lived alone in a cave close to tiger tribe proximity, so they went hunting often. When tiger tribal head found out about Tyrell's blood brother, he told him to kill him or never come back, so Tyrell just went with Sharchan away.
"We went together for a journey and travelled the lands and seas, we collected treasures together and fight beast and monsters. When Sharchan reach the age of 30 and could change to a snake, we went back together and he claimed his throne from his father and became Snake king. He become more powerful and started to hunt treasures even more. It looks like snakes can hear the gold sing to them. lol. I was called to protect Crystal City from the beasts. Magnus is my father's best friend, so I know him for a long time. He asked me to help him to make this city safe for tiger survival's sake. That is how our ways with Sharchan parted, but we are still brothers. We are joined by blood till death." said Tyrell.
Sienna listened in awe." Why did you fight him then?"Sienna asked.
"I could not let him bully you." Tyrell looked into her eyes.
"Sharchan is a fierce, loyal man, but his legacy is completely wrong, as the legacy of most snakes warriors, if you can forgive him, please. I know he made you suffer a lot, and I will try to help him to treat you better. I promise I will try to make up for his shortcomings to you. I will give you anything you desire."Tyrell said seriously.
Sienna's heart melted, "Why do you talk like this?"
"Sharchan does love you, otherwise, he would let you go. Just be patient, he might be rude, cruel and vicious, but you can make him more human," he said.
"I do my best, "Sienna smiled. She did not like to hold grudges anyway, she had feelings for Sharchan, she already promised him to be his mate and he was so handsome it made her blood boil.lol
"Thank you.." said Tyrell and kissed her forehead.
Sienna decided she want to go sleep." I'm off to bed," she said.
Tyrell looked at her, "I will sleep outside your room," he said.
"Ok," Sienna smiled."But why ? If you are my mate now?" she provoked him. Sienna noticed his gazes and how he blushed when she smiled at him, so she deliberately was trying how much she can affect him.
"I need to wait to become king," Tiger sighted.
"Then have a good rest and I will be watching you fight tomorrow," Sienna said and kissed his cheeks. Tyrell tucked her into bed and went out. He felt his heart tighten up to leave her alone.
Sienna closed her eyes, and rested, the whole day was coming back in front of her eyes. She felt safe with Tyrell. Tyrell sleeping outside her room made her feel at ease. Then she fell asleep.
A huge eagle quietly descended from the sky to Sienna's window. He looked at the sleeping Sienna with his cold blue eyes for a bit and then he disappeared into the night.
Sharchan came back from the hunt and bring one deer for Tyrell as well. He found Tyrell leaning next to Sienna's door wearing a longing expression on his face. He was happy and suffering at the same time. It was like she was his but not yet, the waiting made him suffer greatly. His blood was boiling and he saw her blue eyes in front of him in the thin air like a mirage. They were calling him closer, almost pulling his soul in. He was love-bound.
"Here, brother, "Sharchan place one whole deer in front of him and disturbed his thoughts. "Have some dinner with me as before."
Tyrell looked at him with pain in his eyes. "I know you could kill me today at fights. "
"Let it be our secret, brother, " said Sharchan.
"How did you know she will not let us die?"
"I spend more than a week with her, she is too sensitive and kind," Sharchan laughed." I also know she has feelings for me," he smirked
"Why did you agree to duel then? you could just kill us all," Tyrell said.
" I know she needs more mates as I hibernate in the winter, so who is better than my brother to take care of her. You be doing all the hard work"...Sharchan smirked at him.
"With pleasure, "Tyrell nods. Sharchan was such a scheming, lazy snake.
Then they both changed into their animal form and started to eat raw deer meat hungrily.
