Once rested, they continued with their journey. A few more hours on the road and they'd finally arrived at Keira's hometown.
"Are you sure you're okay to drive?" Keira asked, sending a concerned look at the bandage around Nate's arm.
Brushing off her worry, "Yes, why wouldn't I be?" Nate moved his arm dramatically to show how fine it actually was. He was awfully smug about it, completely forgetting how he refused and whined not to go to the hospital.
"Besides, it's not like you can drive after a few minutes of almost crashing the car, is it?"
She huffed, crossed her arms, and then got into the car and slammed the door shut.
Unbeknownst to him, Keira hated the bandages on his arm and leg. It wasn't the first time she saw him hurt.
