"You're shit*ing me!", he shook her shoulder. "Nessa!? Is it really you?".
She nodded with teary eyes, "Henry..."
With sturdy muscular arms, he hugged her tightly while rubbing the back of her head.
"Henry...",
"Shh...", he wanted to savor the moment for some reason. "Are you hungry? I have porridge".
She nodded the moment he broke the hug. Her heart had been pounding so fast like she'd seen a ghost...
Then a question hit her, 'why was he acting so nicely? Wasn't he the same person who stopped writing to her years ago?'.
In about three minutes, Henry returned with two bowls of porridge. After placing both plates on the coffee table, he took a seat next to her on the couch.
Vanessa took the bowl nearest to her, "Thank you...". Although the air between them had become tense.
Henry took a handful of her hair before sniffing it. "You smell so good, Nessa".
