"Young Master, listen to me." Jin patiently persuaded, "Old Madam doesn't want to see Nia alone. You don't want First Prince to be unhappy and let him know that you're disobedient, do you? Just wait for him to come back, okay?"
Maxwell pursed her lips. He didn't want Nia to leave again, but he didn't want his father to see him being disobedient.
He looked at Nia, who knew that she had no choice, so she turned back and smiled at Maxwell.
"Then," Maxwell asked, "When will Nia be back?"
"I promise." Jin glanced at Nia. "She will definitely come back today."
Only then did Maxwell feel a little relieved. "Then, that's for sure. Uncle Jin, you promised me."
"Yes."
Jin nodded with certainty.
Nia said to Maxwell, "Then please wait for me to come back. I'll go and see if Old Madam needs anything."
Maxwell nodded gently. "Nia, you must come back soon."
"Don't worry. I'll do it." Maxwell let go of her grip a little bit after hearing Nia's words.
