Chapter 426 - 426 'What a pity?

[Margaret's perspective]

I propped myself up with my hands and slowly sat up, looking toward Henry, whose eyes had turned blood red.

Henry was truly a madman, watching our reinforcements arrive, with no chance of escape left for himself, he actually thought of a way to take Donald and me down with him.

It turned out that when he said, "Even if I die today, I will take you and Margaret down with me," he wasn't just threatening Donald; he really meant it.

"It's such a pity that none of us three died? Cough cough! If only one of you could have accompanied me to hell, I would have felt it was worth it! Such a pity, cough cough!"

If possible, I hoped I hadn't guessed what Henry had said; as he spoke, he actually curved the corner of his mouth into a smile, seemingly truly regretting not having killed any one of us, Donald or me!

I glanced at the gun that had fallen not far off on the ground, bent down, and slowly crawled toward it.
