I didn't sleep at all for the rest of the night, my mind kept going over the conversation I had with Simo earlier.
To be honest, I'm not sure if Simo would convey my message to Licia, or if Licia would come to see me after hearing my words. My current situation is just too passive!
Henry's people really have surrounded this hospital like a fortress; that's what I discovered when I attempted to go out in the morning but was directly stopped by the guards.
The Medical Practitioner who came in to check on me just now wasn't Simo. Of course, I wasn't foolish enough to ask this Medical Practitioner about Simo's whereabouts. I just silently watched him, and when he asked me to take the medicine, I waved his tray away with a flourish of my hand.
