[Donald's Perspective]
Henry even looked back at Licia as he spoke, with a hint of fondness on his crazed face, "If my Martha were still alive... sorry, my dear aunt, I'm a bit preoccupied with my own troubles, so I can't take you with me. I think we'll be meeting again very soon."
No sooner had Henry finished speaking than Licia and I simultaneously sensed that something was amiss. My gaze darkened, and without any hesitation, I opened fire, aiming to take Henry's life!
But evidently, Henry was faster than anyone else present. He crushed a vial of potion he somehow produced, and the moment the red liquid touched his skin, Henry let out a spine-chilling roar.
My bullet did hit Henry, but it caused him no injury, because, in that instant, he had completed his shift from human to wolf form!
Due to injuries, I had hardly ever seen Henry shift, and I didn't even know he could do that.
Henry's wolf form was huge and burly, black as ink—a beast far larger than any normal wolf!
