"I'm worried about you." I looked at Donald and said, "I feel like everything is my fault. Without me, none of this might have happened. Angel would still be loyal to the royal Lycans. She would be your most capable subordinate. The Silver Moon Pack wouldn't have been forced to participate in the war. It's all my fault."

"No, don't think like that," Donald said gently. "It's all those people's fault. You just met me and we fell in love. That's the best thing in the world. Love itself can never be wrong."

I sniffed and said, "Then tell me, how are you? This is not a good place to regroup. Even if you want to meet up with them, our previous cabin is better than this. At least we have a place to defend. There are open plains everywhere. If someone comes over, we won't be on guard at all."

"You really…" Donald looked at me and sighed. "You really want to know that much?"
