Benjamin took over the topic from Donald and began to report Angel's recent condition to me with emphasis.
His expression was grave as he looked at me, seemingly sighing unconsciously, "The Lycans from the medical academy and I have determined that this is likely a severe side effect of that recovery potion. It can overdraw the potential power of the body's organs for short-term injury recovery."

What Benjamin is suggesting here is that I had initially questioned whether this 'magic' potion had any drawbacks for its users.
