Janet was little taken back by his words. Clearly, the idea of meeting parents slipped out of her mind. She remained shocked for a while then replied with difficulties,
" When..when are they coming?"
Victor saw her troubled expression and patted her back gently. He stated firmly, holding her hands together,
" On Emma's birthday banquet! Don't worry! I won't let you get bullied by them. All you have to do is promise my mother to give grandchildren."
Janet widened her eyes in surprise. Actually, Victor's mother had been upset with her children for a long time. She was at her old age and wanted to have grandchildren but both of her children were useless. Emma ran away whenever the topic of marriage came. There was only Victor who ignored all her blabbering words. In her frustration, she left for a long due vacation overseas.
The next moment, she thought of something and grew nervous. As if he had seen through her mind, Victor coaxed her immediately,
