Panic settled into her stomach. Janet had a feeling like the world was so close to the ending. When she looked over at Victor for help, she saw his nonchalant face. Goodness!
Was this man insane?
Anybody could misunderstand them if they spotted them in this store room alone. Janet quickly panicked cursing herself in a lowest voice,
" CEO Victor! What to do now! They..they seem so close to opening the door.."
Victor gave her a bored look, answered after taking a look at her panicked expression,
" Are you that afraid of them?"
Janet quickly shook her head. Then she explained in a convincing voice, sounding agitated because of her own idea to come and talk at this place,
" No..I am afraid for you. They will say bad things about you if they find us together. There will be plenty of rumours about us."
" I don't mind!", came his lazy reply, sounding so calm and casual as if it was his natural thing to do.
