Chapter 12 - A Hottie Meal

For Jillian, it was very easy to detect my lies. We've been friends since our sophomore year. At first, I didn't trust anyone here, after the scamming incident. But Jillian is a very sincere friend to me. Until this fourth year. Not only that, I got to know some other friends like Hayley, Isabelle, and Lea. We were close friends, traveled a lot together, and I trusted them as my best friends.

In class, my other three friends seemed to be joking and laughing together. They stared at me while greeting me loudly. With Jillian, I walked up to them and high five each other. Never before have we filled our English class with loud laughter.

My friends are often act as my other shoulder. But I was more open to Jillian than anyone else. The first person who knew I was bisexual was Jillian. Ah, yes. I'm bisexual. I like men and women. Fuck gender. Boy or girl, I think it's the same. As long as they can make me happy, and satisfy me in bed.

Even though I'm bisexual, I never invite my friends to have intense sex. Of course not, they were straight and rejected me outright.

Isabelle Coleman scanned my appearance up and down as if to judge every detail of what I was wearing. Among my best friends, Isabelle is the shopaholic queen. In contrast to the awkward Lea Montana. Or Hayley Perkins the gossip queen. And Jillian Brooks the temptress.

"Oh, Geez," Hayley sighed suddenly, fixing her eyes on the classroom entrance. "That's my hottie meal." A seductive smile appeared on her lips.

We automatically glanced at each other at the entrance, where Jace Bryant walked briskly into the classroom. Like yesterday when we looked at each other, his gaze pierced my eyes as he walked past me. He didn't look as bad as yesterday, because he buttoned up his uniform and didn't show his shirt. Hayley bit her fingers in exasperation, as did Jillian and some of the girls in the class. I think I'm the only student who gave a different response.

"I just remembered last night I was trying to tease him," Jillian suddenly said. And she snorted. "Sadly, he ignored me. At least I can get to know his brother who is no less handsome."

I rolled my eyes in disgust. Half of the students here might turn crazy just because of a new student named Jace Bryant. I sat on my chair and threw my bag on the table. Not a few minutes later, Mr. Hopkins walked into the classroom. Suddenly, all the students in the class who were previously rowdy and giving each other admiring glances at Jace rushed to their seats.

"Good morning, children," said Mr. Hopkins raising his glasses.

I don't know if it's just me or back there Jace is staring at me intently. I could feel that sharp gaze stabbing my back and making me uneasy. And sure enough. When I looked back, he was looking at me intently, with a look that contained the words 'I want to kill you'. I don't mean to be exaggerating, but other people will agree with me if they see that look.
