Jace's POV
"Jace!"
My eyebrows knit together in surprise. It's the voice of Devon Macmillan, my damn cousin who managed to steal Kathleen from me. I sighed softly ignoring the screams from the other side.
"I have no business with you."
"It's about Kathleen! What are you-"
"Kathleen's problem is none of my business. Don't involve me in all the silly things about you. Just take care of him. Isn't she your boyfriend?"
Inside, Devon growled angrily cursing at me. But I didn't care, instead I hung up and put the phone in my coat pocket. My eyes widened slightly when I saw Elsie move languidly. He walked limply, while occasionally touching his head and his body swayed almost collapsing.
"Elsie!" I shouted as I ran through the snow pile on the road and low tree branches, approaching him. He fell not far from the long bench where he had been sitting.
