Jace's POV
I grabbed Elsie's car key next to her glass. Then, took out my car keys and threw them at Caden. "Follow me, take my car."
"But you're drunk, Jace."
I shook my head. "Not. I'm still conscious." Even though my stomach and chest were shaking violently like being hit by a strong mace.
Walking away from the bartender's table, I led Elsie out of the pub. He babbled incoherently, swore at me a few times, laughed, but didn't run away from my embrace.
"I feel like throwing up," he said suddenly and pushed me away and staggered into the bushes.
I followed him from behind, waiting for him to vomit in the bushes while massaging the back of his neck.
"Look, you look stupid now," I panted.
