In the morning Cleopatra's voice had pierced my ears. The blanket that wrapped my body was removed and she opened the shutters in her room so I could feel the morning sun burning my skin. I groaned while covering my eyes with my right arm, like a vampire who hates the sun.
"Didn't you start trying on your cello today and attend a class at a studio?"
Wait, what? "Who said that?" I frowned disapprovingly.
Cleopatra rolled her eyes slightly regretting what she had just said. Her wide grin formed like an apology. "Oops, I forgot to tell you. I've registered your name in Clayton's music studio. From today onwards you can spend from nine o'clock until lunchtime practicing with a musical instrument." She laughed innocently. "You must have won the Juilliard pass, Elsie."
