This was the first time Marylou looked nervous in front of the camera. Not like usual. What else could the reason be if not for Joseph's skepticism? In the corner of the shooting range, Jo was watching him closely. So many times Mary made mistakes that Keith gave her time to focus.
Seeing Marylou like that, Joseph laughed sarcastically. He stuck his cigarette butt into the ashtray. At that moment Marylou walked angrily to him. Then, reach for the legged glass on the nearest table.
"Don't laugh at me," he snapped.
Joseph ignored Marylou's grumbling. He grabbed another cigarette, slid it to his lips, and lit it with the lighter, before being snatched by Marylou. A sly smile bloomed on his lips.
"About yesterday the day after tomorrow," Mary opened her voice while exhaling a thin smoke from the cigarette she had grabbed earlier. "Seems like you've been heartbroken?"
Again Jo laughed sarcastically. "Why do you seem interested, hm?"
