Elsie's Point of View
I don't know how many absinthe glasses I drank, at least I'm still fully aware. I looked at the last glass in my hand, observing my fingerprints on it with an autistic gaze. The loud music in the night club made me feel numb, dizzy, and I wanted to throw up. Damn, I haven't finished drinking this much in a long time. My stomach is definitely not as strong as it used to be.
"Elsie, I didn't know you were here often."
Someone startled me. Instantly, I turned to the side and found Jeff standing leaning against the bartender's table, looking at me skeptically. Damn, he would definitely tell Cleopatra about my being here.
