Von and his disciple were grinning inwardly at first. They were pretty sure that Azna's disciple, Nuzar won't be able to heal the patient, if anything he would cause more havoc which was what Von was expecting. The smile on their faces began to fade away when they saw something mysterious happen.
When they first arrived to heal the patient they were aware that the patient had a greyish hue to his skin, but now the 'greyness' was disappearing with each seconds that passed.
" What's really happening Sir?" Ptah asked his master who wasn't trying to hide the lively smile on his face. " I shouldn't have gotten myself worried for nothing". Azna giggled. " Don't worry boy, I'll explain when your friend's done".
" Azna... I can see you've been teaching your disciples the dark art. What happened to the righteousness you've been preaching! Tell me! ...The authorities must know about this. Von raised his voice. His face was red with anger. He stormed out of the Healing hall with his disciple following him closely.

Nuzar lost count of time for he had been walking for what felt like hours in search of the Host's soul. In the Host's Void, it felt like he was lost in space. He was about to give up until he heard the rattling of metallic chains rubbing against themselves. He walked towards the area where the sound was coming from and saw a dim light– A human shaped one.
When he got to the dim lit soul, he tried to reach out to it but he noticed that it was chained. " You're different from that guy... aren't you?" The dim soul asked. " I'm here to free you."Nuzar replied. " One of your lowly tricks.... ain't it. It won't work on me again. Just so you know, I won't submit to you.... I won't...".
Nuzar paid no attention to the ramblings of the soul. He held the chains binding the dim soul and they began to disintegrate. As soon as the chains disintegrated, the dim soul began to regain its glow by the passing seconds, until it became a blinding light. Nuzar had to close his eyes even though he was presently an intangible entity. After the situation resided, he opened his eyes only to find himself returned to his body. Beads of sweat were formed on his face.

The system messages kept coming in. Until he was jolted from his ' reverie ' by a familiar voice.
" Are you okay bro?" Ptah asked placing his hand on Nuzar's arm. " I'm...I'm okay " Nuzar replied, slowly taking in the information flooding his system.
" How did you heal him? " was the first question Azna asked Nuzar. If Nuzar wasn't sure that he had completed the system's quest, the question Azna asked made him completely sure he had healed the patient.

In the flickering light of a wall lamp, three Silhouettes were seen standing around a circle drawn on the floor with a white substance. Inscribed in the circle is a pentagram. At each points where the Pentagram touches the circle was a white candle. The white candles numbered in 5. The room was filled with cobwebs and junk items. One wouldn't be wrong to call it a basement apartment.
The three Silhouettes were Azna and his disciples Nuzar and Ptah.
" Are you ready for the bonding ritual?" Azna asked Nuzar. " Absolutely" Nuzar replied with a slight bow. Ptah stood in place, his face was pale. He knew the pros and cons of the bonding ritual. The bonding ritual, also known as the Summoning ceremony was a very crucial rite in the Life of any Major occupation practitioner. The survival rate of the Ritual was a 50/50 and one could also get possessed by evil spirits. Despite it risks, many practitioners still choose to undergo this process because their fighting prowess and their occupational status would take a huge leap.
" Get into the Pentagram and follow my instructions " Azna reminded. Nuzar turned to look at Ptah and gave him a reassuring smile before walking into the Pentagram. Azna then signalled to Ptah to light up the candles. As soon as Nuzar stepped in to the Pentagram. It started giving a white glow.
" Lie down on your back" Azna's voice sounded. The white glow began to shine brighter than before. White mists began to escape from the Pentagram. The mist escaped into the air and stayed in place for a few seconds until it began to shape itself. The mist formed Five humanoid figures which were floating in the mid air. They began to move in circles around Nuzar.
" Now choose the one you think would be best for you. " Azna instructed, referring Nuzar to the white entities that seemed to be the Bonded spirits. Nuzar laid in the inscribed pentagram facing up. He then pointed to one of the entities that look a bit condensed than the others. The moment he pointed to the white entity, it gave a piercing screech before puffing out like a cloud of smoke. The other entities seeing what happened to one of them started to move around frantically trying to get back into the glowing pentagram.
The look on Azna and Ptah's face was that of surprise. " The boy has been defying common sense since his awakening. Maybe he had hit an epiphany during his comatose period" Azna mumbled subconsciously. " Would there be any problem. Would he be fine?" Ptah asked, visibly shaken by the scenario.
It truly was a strange sight and wasn't what the Master and disciple duo were expecting. After much struggle, the bonded spirits managed to escape into the glowing pentagram. The moment the spirits returned to the Pentagram it began to give a blue glow. The glow also began to turn into mist and in a flash the mist entered Nuzar's right eye where the system was.
Argh! Ahhh! Arrhhh!
Nuzar screamed in pain. He felt like molten magma was dripping into his right eye. The pain went for a few minutes until he couldn't hold his consciousness any longer— He blacked out.
When all of these were happening, Ptah attempted to charge in to stop the process. Azna had to pin him down with an armlock . Ptah tried to escape his master's grasp but to no avail. When the 'failed Bonding' process resided, Azna freed him.
Ptah rushed to look at the unconscious Nuzar. He looked completely fine no scratches or bruises on his body. The only 'visible change' on him was a large scar, a runic writing both of which are on theright side of his face and a blue gem-like object in place of his formerly hollow eye socket.
The young Physician placed his fingers on his friend's wrist to feel the latter's pulse.
" Thank goodness his soul energy wasn't depleted" Ptah muttered as he lifted the unconscious physician and carried him on his back.
"Looks like we have a little Divine healer on my team. The heavens sure have a way of recouping one's loss". Azna chuckled.
